I'm aware of the film but I haven't seen. Any movies since my flood.
They took until March to do the drywall and mold removal and lay down new carpet.
I've been buying new furniture for two different rooms including two new pinballs and handling my gambling business at the same time

I feel for you. Both my mother and sister's houses flooded from hurricane Ian. Hopefully my mothers house will be finished in a few weeks and sister still has a few more months. It has been almost seven months since either of them have been in their houses. Both houses were taken down to the studs.
“Don’t come anywhere near this place!” I shouted.
These were in use probably during the 1990s, until the modern key cards came out. Someone pitched these Marlok keys to the C.I.A. as "truly secure" in the mid 1980s.
Before these were around, each door had a unique key, and I have some of those truly old school Vegas keys somewhere too.
But has anything much really changed inside, or is it still Bally's? (Formerly the MGM.)
I have spent almost no time inside Bally's so I wouldn't know even if I did go into the new Horseshoe.
The Mirage’s iconic volcano will soon erupt no more
I actually never paid much attention to it, looked at it closely for possibly the first time earlier this year. When all you're doing is walking (or driving, or being driven) from one property to another just to play, you don't always look to the left or right much. 😆 At least not at landmarks. At showgirls, maybe. I spend more time looking closely at the interior of Vegas hotels than exterior.
Meantime, Cosmo's Identity Players Club is supposed to change over to MGM's MLife program later this year. You may eat at any MGM hotel restaurant and charge it back to your Cosmo room for comp'ing, but if you're not staying at any MGM property and have only Identity points (no MLife) you can't use Identity points other than at Cosmo.
What is so bad about being a K-Pop star, and why do so many off themselves? Is it terminal cases of teen angst or something more?

What is K-Pop? I have never heard that term and a quick Google did not give me anything besides the story you mentioned.

Korean. iirc Andrew Wiggins rather bizarrely got selected as an nba starter all star (despite being a sub all star player) last year on the back of some Warriors marketing to Kpop fans thing specifically on a day votes were counted 2-1….Warriors used advantage play to game the all star game selection from primarily non nba fans.
Inside the deadly world of K-Pop: As Moonbin becomes latest to die, how a toxic combination of social media pressure, body image expectations and deadly misfortunes have led to multiple tragedies
• Many K-Pop stars have been victims of mental health struggles and died young
• High pressure associated with South Korean music industry is labelled 'toxic'
We usually drive into Vegas because my wife brings a lot of luggage. 😇
There are two parallel to the Strip routes, one is Koval, which is east of the Strip (but the word is mostly out on that route so sometimes it is quite congested too especially if there is a lane closure on Koval), or the "Rat Pack" streets, S Sammy Davis Jr. Dr / Dean Martin Dr. west of the Strip.
If those are impacted you may push your route out further in either direction, east to Paradise or west to S Valley View Blvd. but at that point you're adding extra miles that may not translate into saved time.
Someone mentioned how long it took him to go from Tuscany to Treasure Island: to go from Tuscany to Treasure Island, what I might do is exit the Tuscany on Flamingo and go directly into Howard Hughes Parkway, all the way through to Sands Ave., turn left, and then you go straight through the Strip and turn left into Treasure Island just across from the Fashion Show Mall.
Sometimes you don't care about the delay and want to take in the sights on the Strip, but if you're in a hurry to get from one end of the Strip to the other, above are some suggestions.
And if you are on the Strip, don't stay behind one of those sandwich board advertising trucks - they drive very slowly.

K-pop is specifically South Korean popular music and is very americanized with a big US fan following.
Groups like BTS and BlackPink have songs that sound very western in influence. Many songs are sung in English or both Korean and English.
South Korea does everything it can to westernize itself and therefore make itself the exact opposite of it's neighbor North Korea.
K-pop male stars are usually heavily overworked because they're longevity for their billion dollars business is just a few years due to stringent Korean law about service in the military.
BTS for example arguably the most worldwide successful male K-pop group was unable to secure a waiver from the Korean government and the five members were forced to temporarily disband for a few years due to military service.
I'm quite certain the older handlers of these groups put intense pressure schedule wise to squeeze every penny out of them before their group becomes deactivated.
NFL policy states players and personnel cannot engage in any form of gambling "in any club or league facility, or venue, including the practice field."
NFL players aren't allowed to gamble in casinos? NBA must be allowed then, or were, because I've actually played with some NBA players in the past at the same table game. Or is NFL referring only to sports betting gambling?
League policy prohibits players from gambling on NFL games, the draft or other activities, and from taking part in any form of gambling while at a league or team facility or while traveling with the team.Quote: MDawgNFL suspends 5 players, including Lions 2022 first-round pick Jameson Williams, for gambling violations

Some of these groups have twenty or more members and the pressure to get every note and step perfect is insane.
By the way, as your attorney I advise you to refrain from going down the rabbit hole of a TheStreet.com article about...anything really, but especially about Vegas. Tend to be click bait often just repeating commonly known old new and frequently not even relevant to the title. Waste of time.
Similar to those stupid "Sponsored by" or "Ad" articles that are anything but newsworthy.
Another one is the straight down Paradise route from the Strip to downtown, versus the I-15. Paradise is the shortest route that avoids LV Blvd., even if not always the fastest.

As far as the IRS thing you're just wrong about that or might have misunderstood the bank officer.
I routinely receive six figure bank wires, six figure incoming ACH deposits and deposit six figure checks or cashier's checks and no one is notified of anything. I routinely (or used to routinely, paper checks are less in use these days) write checks or get cashier's checks of six figures and no one is notified of anything as long as the sources for the cashier's checks were not cash over a certain amount.
The notification rules apply to 10K cash in or out. Not checks. Not wires.
There are specific reporting rules for all of this, not just what you think, heard or thought you heard.
Federal law requires financial institutions to report currency (cash or coin) transactions over $10,000 conducted by, or on behalf of, one person, as well as multiple currency transactions that aggregate to be over $10,000 in a single day.
As a registered Money Services Business (you can look up my registration on FinCen), I can confirm that I have to file a CTR (Currency Transaction Report) to FinCen for cash or coin transactions of >$10k. I have no duty to report any customer's transactions to the IRS, no matter how large the amount, and no matter whether it's cash or check.Quote: MDawgThere are specific reporting rules for all of this, not just what you think, heard or thought you heard.

As far as checks, wires - non-currency transactions - these are not reported on CTRs. There has to be some kind of movement of >10K in currency to trigger a CTR. So, unless the check or wire was somehow funded with or converted to >10K cash, it is not getting reported.
And CChange is also correct that the government has a right to obtain your bank records, but not just "because" - there has to be some kind of evidence of wrongdoing ("probable cause") in criminal actions or be requested pursuant to some civil action, to support getting those records. And except in criminal matters where a search warrant would be utilized, with subpoenas the account holder must be given the opportunity to object, to quash the subpoena.
There is a pending case right now that might change that though, and allow the IRS to look through bank records without even notifying the account holder,
Supreme Court To Decide If IRS Can Secretly Comb Through Bank Records
but still, the IRS isn't going to do that unless it has some reason to believe that something is amiss.

DD Blackjack.
Good starting session, no real issues.

Note: Lately, for security reasons, session reports are not necessarily presented in real time corresponding directly to the day played.
And this is the MDawg challenge.
Cones on Flamingo - and parts of Frank Sinatra Dr. are closed off, so it is harder to go at least south on the I-15 at times. For some reason haven't noted as much I-15 north traffic lately.
and Dotty's, where the (lack of action) is actually happening.
It is interesting because depending on the vendor or cashier, if the food is a dollar or two more than the $10., you will either be asked to pay the difference or asked for nothing extra at all. As far as the drinks, it is 4 drinks maximum, with a ceiling of $25. per drink.
It takes a little longer at the register because the vendor has to verify your availability after swiping your card, but the job still gets done and at at least some of the vendors there is a Seven Star go straight to the head of the line courtesy.
DD Blackjack.
Very heavy betting that worked out over all. Some back and forth.

If there is a lot of back and forth I might be playing for a number of hours.

Over the past few decades my last 20 polos cost around $750 plus tax. Golf Galaxy periodically has sales like BOGO for $59.
But I rarely if ever see Purple Label at the outlets.
I got this Purple Label and the "Mended" Polo Shirt at the regular RL shop in the Forum Shops. Buying something or other makes the wins at the tables seem for real. I don't always do that, more often than not I just stick the cash in an envelope (The "Winner's Envelope") or deposit the check and don't think much more about it.

I always said that I should do that too but I don't think I ever really did it.
I once went on a date with a woman to a local bar and played some video poker. We said that if either one of us hits a royal flush that we will use that money and go to Hawaii together. We both hit a royal flush that night and then got married in Hawaii.

Yes, but sadly I was dealt the Joker.
If I had more I suppose I could try to vary 500 to 2500 on the blackjack, but usually I am getting just a few thousand dollars worth of these free play chips at a time.
