Amy Winehouse - modern day Billie Holliday story.
It goes through the history of independent "Exploitation" films made after WWII (and some before that) that led to the careers of more than a few important Hollywood film stars, and directors, along with the injection into mainstream cinema of all those previously taboo exploitation themes from those low budget movies.

There was a period when I was winning every hand, about a dozen in a row. I was down a decent chunk at one point but that winning streak plus some other nice winning advantage hands, took the win home.

You have used the term "advantage hands." Give us all one, just one, example of an "advantage hand." One other thing, does an "advantage hand" happen prior to it being dealt or after you look at the cards dealt?

First, HE is supposed to respond without another elbowing their way in and reading his mind to provide an "answer" they grab out of thin air. Second, HE spoke in plurals which one could infer that there were different types of "hands." Third, does anyone really believe that a private table game can be that easily compromised or tilted by focused casino staff/management? Fourth, are the casinos monitoring this forum to pick-up all the secrets of the "winners" so they can plot ways to neutralize that "edge"? Gimme a break!

Anyway, advantage or no advantage you still might lose a hand. There is never any guarantee.

Unless you are Evenbob
But that day, I wasn't even planning to play and just went down there unannounced. Still they were able to set up the play according to the way I want it, but a couple of small time players were there too. You can't boot players from a table that is not reserved from the getgo. That didn't matter, didn't affect me, I won about five grand or so.
Then there was a period when I was playing alone, and I won another ten thousand or so. During that period I should have reserved the table, but I didn't.
Also at that point, being ahead about fifteen large or so, I should have just left, but was feeling like maybe this would be another bigger win day.
Then a player came in and sat down, pretty big player actually, who was betting anywhere from a few thousand to ten thousand a hand, but just kept losing every single hand. That threw me off some, but I didn't lose anything during that period, just free handed all those losing hands.
Then a hand came up where I knew there was a Player advantage, but because that player had been betting and losing every single hand, I didn't bet it, although I wanted to bet it pretty heavy. That hand was a Player winner, as expected.
Then later, I lost a 5K hand and then a couple hands later when it was to be expected that mostly smaller cards and face cards were coming, and I knew that (or at least expected) the Player to get a 0, I plopped 15000 on Bank and sure enough Player got the 0, and the small cards added to a 4 for the Bank. If the small cards had remained on deck, Bank would have won but the next card drawn was a 9, to win the hand for the Player. Yes there are 9s in the deck and one might pop up anywhere.
I lost two other big hands later that I expected to win, and pretty much the whole session fell apart.
WHY I didn't just walk with the +15K or so ahead and then ending up dumping over seventy K from there until I gave up, is something that bothers me, but somehow I got sucked into trying to win just by watching the other player lose. Anyway, it was just a bad day and a day I should not have been playing at all. Maybe was tired from an event the night before, who knows.
I don't like it, anymore than you men.
Took a couple days off, ate a ribeye steak the day after the big loss, felt better. The night of the loss I didn't want to eat anything.
That's one thing that most casino players will tell you - you lose your appetite when you lose, especially lose big, gain a tremendous appetite when you win, especially win big.
Does that make it better.

At Baccarat, especially among Asians, the concept of "support" for the high wager has a revered status, which signifies not just that everyone agrees with your post, but even that unseen forces are being directed your way to give you luck. Personally, I think the "luck" or skill of Baccarat concerns picking the right hand, and does not go beyond that, but most Baccarat players, and Asians in particular believe that the cards will actually change in your favor in your hands if your are lucky, and against you if you are unlucky.
That day, with that beyond table limit bet, I drew a 7 on Bank, Player had a 1 and the dealer drew an ace to finish the hand with a Bank win. The entire table roared with approval, and granted, each person was happy that his or her bet also had won, but that sort of raucous cheering resulted from the dollar amount of my bet, from their support of my large bet. That sort of camaraderie is something that you experience at a Baccarat table when everyone is betting and winning together, and there is nothing like it when the cards are falling in your favor.
We actually have a vehicle in it. Perhaps I'll put a secret
image in or on it somewhere so that the knowing will know?
Look for it. The winner (first one to find it and PM me) gets a free dinner for two (gratuity not included) at the restaurant of his choice.
These are currently on display at the casino.
The tires on this Bugatti will empty your pockets of $30,000. for a set according to a friend of mine who has one.
The thing about these Supercars and Exotics is that typically few have over 30K miles on them to begin with, so changing tires and maintenance isn't always such an issue. These cars aren't built to survive repeated long drives.
This isn't your usual McLaren and will set you back just under $2M, no windshield and no windows. Don't get caught in an unexpected windstorm! Compare it to the Ferrari Monza SP2.
At a time when American families were struggling to survive the Great Depression, the Duesenberg spoke excess like not much else.
I was talking to the security guard (one or two are posted by each vehicle at all times) about this car (probably owned by Jay Leno), when an Italian guy came up and asked the guard, in halting English, to take a picture of him standing next to it. Before the astonished guard could react, the guy jumped the rail and put his hand right on the car.
After he had left, I mentioned that the guard should probably wipe the handprint off the coachwork. He said that actually, he probably had to call the incident in...which he was doing on his radio as I walked away.
No, that's not actually at Wynn.

A friend of mine, John Henry Thomas (JT) drove a 917K for the Porsche racing team many years ago. He won numerous races. After every winning race, he was offered a cash bonus by the team manager. JT would tell the team manager to send the money to his sculptor. JT commissioned the sculptor to do a bronze after every race that he won. He had dozens of bronzes which is how I know that he was a successful driver.
My favorite of JT's bronzes was a silver 1937 or 1939 Bugatti convertible being driven by a beautiful woman with long hair flowing to the back seat. Looking at it closely, I noticed very subtle silver streaks on the body of the car. I told JT that it looked like the wind. He excitedly explained that his sculptor created that effect by dropping molten silver in front of a small fan to blow onto the car. That bronze used to take my breath away every time that I saw it.
Another one of my favorites was a bronze entitled, "The Passing of the Horse". A family in their Sunday finery are in a turn-of-the-century flivver which is passing a person on horseback. Stunning.
JT even had an incredible bronze of the Gulf Racing 917K which he drove with the pit crew swarming around it.
I apologize for the thread hijack.
Actually the coupe version, the 57SC Atlantic, is worth even more, around $40M, and only 3 examples survive of the original 4 built.

When I was leaving college I narrowed it down to Vegas, San Diego, and Port Arthur Texas. I probably should have went to San Diego.

2. Las Vegas is not warm enough for you year round…
3. You moved to a city and had no idea about how cold it gets there?

I admit I was young and naïve about the Vegas weather. I assumed it was always hot in the desert (this was before Google and the internet). I may have also been a little blinded by the Vegas lifestyle.
I don't regret moving to Vegas, I was just miserable four months a year.

If you are referring to a current WoV member as a 'varmint', I think you are itching for another suspension? In the beginning of your posting, there were some members that questioned whether you were actually a big player. I don't think there is anyone left who does not believe that you are a Vegas high roller. And that ANY high roller will have days of high wins. And high losses.
Congrats on the big win. No need to attack someone. Just revel in your good luck, or good skill, or whatever led to the +$77k!
Cannot insult someone who does not exist. Which is what is annoying. The term varmint refers to what is annoying, that the person will not show his face, not to the person himself.
At this point it's too late by many months for anyone to come forward and claim to be Spartacus, because there would be no way to verify. Which is why it's not possible to insult a non-existent person.
We took the railroad hike in and out to Hoover Dam, which is about 7 miles round trip. Easy hike, almost entirely level.

I've been there a couple of times and it's well worth dropping in. They are not always there, but when they are they can get very close to you. Like 10-20 feet. Apparently they roam through the neighborhood as well.
