Don't forget, I work security in a casino, my department delivers chips to the table games. As well, we also pick up chips when racks overflow, lol. I also see players win tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars and give it back and chase and chase and chase those very same wins.
I know the hard core bad butt vicious circle of that chase.

Right, but in the long run you're obviously going to lose money, so the primary purpose is entertainment.

Everyday or night at my casino I get paid and I get free entertainment just watching the patrons of the propetry!

Right. It's just weird to go out for a night of entertainment gambling and to only play 5 hands.
He's probably cleaning up on the underground tic tac toe circuit.
Rumor has it he never loses ...
Ignoring side bets for the moment...
Hand 1. Wager 100 and won +100
Hand 2. Wager 120 and won +125
Hand 3. Wager 75 and lost -75
Hand 4. Wager 50 and won +50
Hand 5. Wager 100 and lost -100: Marcus Said he somehow lost 100 but was only down 50 on the hand?
Which would have left you UP 100 on main bets. having won a spectacular three wagers out of five
And with side bets...
Hand 1. Wager 25 and lost -25
Hand 2. Wager 50 and won +500
Hand 3. Wager 25 and lost -25
Which would have left you UP 450 on side bets.
So, in total, If I'm not mistaken, Marcus had a session profit of 100+450=550 and not 600 as he said.
My theory is that MarcusClark was pretty lucky to get that Dragon Bonus win and that is the core of his profit.Quote: Marcusclark662nd Play Session:
My wagering Theory last night on this particular shoe was to bet what won the hand before.

My recommendation would be to learn bona fide advantage plays, or just stick to making money at casinos after you punch into work.
(This is not an insult as MarcusClark volunteers, literally every single post, that he works in casinos as a security expert.)

Nope, lol, my phone keeps great time!

You enjoy your entertainment and the avenues the casino lays out to keep you playing. I have a different outlook and goal.

Presumably all owned by the same company?
Is so, why didn't casino B know that casino A had banned him?
Wouldn't a banning at one property apply to all of the company's properties?
Isn't he in your database?
Dunno, that's why I'm asking ...

My employer owns numerous properties and yes I do work at several of them. Of course where I play is not owned or affiliated in anyway with my employer and that is where the event took place.

Does your employer pay for the services of OSN?
If so, I guess as a layman I wonder how powerful the system is; for example, if the fellow was originally banned from casino A, I assume they'd have his picture and would have flagged him from entering all their properties.
If he later entered property B, I would think that facial recognition software, if used, would have automatically discovered and red flagged him to security at property B?
Again, just curious as to how it all works and comes together.

Mr. V,
Even if MarcusClark66 casino chain had the cutting edge facial recognition, it wouldn’t matter. The person at issue was playing with MarcusClark66 at a casino not in the chain.
he's an excellent student of the game of baccarat
it won't be long before his knowledge of the game is equal to MDawg's

Hi Stupid!Quote: ExpectedvalueI read that wrong as well. This is even more outrageous. A person that was banned at your place randomly got into an argument at another place when you were there...... call me stupid
Only Joking.
Let's read on as the No#1 Fan of the great man (Who at one time claimed not to be an AP, but who later claimed some foresight as to cards being dealt)... as the No#1 Fan puts into play all the great stuff he has learned here. (And some of the great stuff secretly taught to him by the main man himself.
Let's see how his wagering reports play out. Side-bets available by PM :o)
Quote: ExpectedvalueTwo observations. Since you claim to not be a high level security expert. I’ve never seen a mid level security expert that works at multiple properties. Seems unusual . Also when you say your employer owns multiple properties . Obviously since you work at more than one. Thus meaning they are located in somewhat of the same vicninity. I’m not buying a lot of this. Most companies ( and there are not that many that own multiple in close proximity. Ban you from one and ban you from all. So much of this doesn’t make sense. Not only that you are betting absolutely horrendous side bets and on opposite sides of your main bet from what I read. None of this makes sense
Where did you get the verbiage "not be a high level security security expert"?
Yes my company has several properties within a couple hours of each other.
Yes bans are generally company wide but could also be property specific.
Thanks

Quote: ChumpChangeSo did the player who was ejected call you a "ratfink" or some such related to his banning by you at the property you work at. Seems you were trolling his playground.
He got up in my face several times, told to back down each time. What got him banned from my properties was his own doing, no one ratted him out as you suggested. He attempted a physical altercation and once again earned himself a ban and a trespass.

Quote: Marcusclark66Last night at the casino a situation unfolded where a banned player from one of the casinos I work at, was also present. He became very vocal towards myself and after repeated warnings from the floor person, table games supervisor and the floor management, their security team was called and instituted a ban and trespassed the same player.
Can you arrange the following in chronological order so we have a better idea of the timeline?
Floor warning #1
Floor warning #2
Table games supervisor warning #1
Table games supervisor warning #2
Floor management warning #1
Floor management warning #2
Security called
Security arrives
Security trespasses
Baccarat Hand #1
Baccarat Hand #2
Baccarat Hand #3
Baccarat Hand #4
Baccarat Hand #5

What's the difference if you play 5 hands every day for 100 days or 500 hands in a row? Answer: literally nothing to the deck of cards. You're just chasing all the same.Quote: Marcusclark66Don't forget, I work security in a casino, my department delivers chips to the table games. I'll bet you a dollar he reports at least one losing session out of his first fifty.

You've only made six posts this year, so that's not helping much. I don't think these forums are any more, "Overrun," than they were at any other time; I just don't think there are as many active good postings as there used to be. That's just the Forum medium, though, in general. The youth today likes the Twitter bird and the Discord.
Back in my day, you had chat rooms and forums. We didn't even have Facebook.
there are a very lot who had minus EV ideas who I believe may have been helped here
they were willing to listen and learn and they may have been rescued from a minus EV lifestyle
there are also a few, like Marcus who are dead sure they can beat a minus EV house game with betting progressions or bet selection or stop losses or stop wins
those few are beyond help - the only choice for the Management is to ban them or let them rant
so, just about everywhere they're aloud to rant
it's boring, but every fallacious idea they come up with gets righteously shot down
so, anyway, maybe others with similar ideas can learn how they are flawed and see thru their nonsense

So you antagonized other players for 30 minutes before even playing? Enough to cause them to get in your face several times despite them sitting at a table playing while you were standing behind them? Methinks the casino banned the wrong person.
Quote: billryanJealousy. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Perfect response.
One minor additional point. Count me in as jealous of Marcus. He's straddled the line between intense sincerity and tongue-in-cheek faux adulation unbelievably well. I can't tell if it's me writing my stuff under his name or MDawg writing his stuff while in a schizoid state.
I mean, really, if I said I was MarcusClark trying to "make a prick" out of WoV and Mdawg, would anybody be surprised? It's pretty darn close to how I'd do it (if I had time to waste in life). The security blather is such an absurd MacGuffin, I'd probably think it was over the top, but not if I had a few beers.

I wish I could go to a casino and play 5 hands of baccarat. Dare to dream I guess.
