Guys,

I have made a roulette simulator, it will simulate any number of spins on either a European or American wheel. Output is either a .txt file, or on screen display. It uses the mersene twister algorithm, so is very robust to tracking. Any feedback greatly received. I am looking at adding a rules section, so you can actually test your "system" using the sim.

Fast output of numbers nice. Be an even nicer touch if numbers were coloured. Why the twister algo? Is it better at producing randomness than other algo's and if so, what is different about it. thanks anyway.
winning at roulette is easy, knowing when to cash in and leave is not so easy

I am still working on this, and almost have something close. It's a bigger job than I first envisaged. But hope it will help someone.

If you are publishing source code, might I recommend source forge as a place that will host your zip file distributions as well as your source code.

I wasn't able to download the zip file as it was making me wait and then I couldn't figure out what to click. Also had me worried about viruses and so on with so many flashing and animated things everywhere.

I wont be giving out the source code, the app would be digitally signed, but that never guarantees it's virus free. The upload would be directly from me, the flashing animations are just adverts from the website to pay for the hosting. I am not looking to pay for the hosting, but if you want a direct email send me a pm and I'll send you a copy of the latest creation.

Okay. I dl and tried it, but can't locate where the output file is stored. Also, it doesn't want to close down. I have to use Task Manager to kill it.
