I've played at a few different casinos in the Eastern US, and I'm starting to wonder if Atlantic City is still the best overall option.
For those who have played at both Atlantic City and other regional casinos, which do you prefer?
I'm curious about the overall experience, games, comps and atmosphere.
If you could only pick one place to gamble in the Eastern US, where would you go?

Depends what you're looking for. Big cities usually have $25 minimums or higher. If I'm looking for a $5 or $10 game, I'll go far afield looking for one. If I'm looking for $5,000 table maxes, I might try Rivers Casino in Schenectady or Pittsburgh because it's less of a drive than to southern NJ.
The NYC crowd now has a choice of Resorts World in NYC that includes table games, but table minimums are likely high.
Some YouTube slot players visit Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
I might prefer a shorter craps table than what is available locally, and that would take me into strip mall casino territory.

Foxwoods. Beautiful area. Scenic views. Good crowd. Pleasant atmosphere. Pequot casino is sunlit during the day. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Tanger mall to keep the wife busy.
Craps is $10 min during the week. 6:5 Blackjack at $25 is not worth playing at any minimum.
Rooms are reasonable. We stayed there twice this summer. $129 per night plus resort fee.
PARX in PA is second. Last time I was there PARX had the best Blackjack rules in the country. 3:2. $15 min. E-Z Bac $15 min. Craps $10 min. $5 on the 'Shoot to Win' table.
