Imagine how many of them are 'weirdos, whackos and winos'. It is either safe there or not (opinions differ, as does time of day) but the open containers won't make much difference.

Seems like a topic every year and every year it gets shot down. Yet if you sit on the beach in front of ballys beach bar they will sell you alcohol.
Imo the people who are problems are already sneaking it so you might as well allow everyone to have a drink.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed.

Makes sense with the recent resurgence in AC casinos due to the sports book betting stalls being added. I believe AC is the only East Coast gaming town that has 24 hour Free Drink service AND 24 hr. liquor stores on every corner!
