As of Friday, June 3rd, 2016, CET Diamond and Seven Stars players will no longer be able to exchange DirectBet table game coupons for Reel Rewards slot play.

What's the big deal, you ask? In New Jersey, free bet slips on table games are one-use only (and restricted to even money bets). Compare this to Nevada, where the policy is play 'till you lose.

So if you were getting, say $500 a month in DirectBets and you were counting on $497.70 in EV at the 9/6 Jacks or Better machines... sincerest apologies from Kevin Ortzman.

(Just in case the dealer missed the printed expiration date 🙄)

Red, 1-18, or Even only? Is there something about the wheels in AC that we don't know about? Do I smell a possible AP by betting on 29-31-33-35 (the four black, 19-36, odd numbers)?

It prevents people from doing offsetting bets if they have multiple coupons. The fact that this doesn't change the expected return apparently doesn't matter to the casinos.

There are a ton of casinos that restrict the bets-
Most common are player only, red only 1-18 and on and on
No longer hiring, don’t ask because I won’t hire you either

It matters because people are more likely to chase their losses if they lose and more likely to walk when they win. Recently I had a Ace and match play. I lost them both. I had $10 in chips left so I just bet them. Had I won even just $10 I would have just walked.

Casinos can't stand people winning guaranteed money.

Agree completely, AxelWolf. When James Grosjean mentions "The casinos are restricting something they don't understand; they make money in spite of their idiocy", he is ignoring the psychology aspect of gambling.

They will cut off their noses to spite their faces. That's exactly what Dan and he darksiders are doing.

Most gambler's don't make decisions with math, I can't help but think casino's never make the same mistake.
