I do agree that AC politicians and the City as a whole needs to get their act together. The gravy train is over for the politicians, there is so much in fighting and pissing contests.

I know that the city has a huge burden to support the thousands of indigent residents but is that influx of money going to help in rebuilding the city and it's infrastructure?

Thanks to 35 years of ineptitude and downright outright corruption. All based on even a much longer tradition.

AC has hit a milestone of sorts. The gaming revenue is now down 50.3% from it's peak,
$2,593,231,483 for the last 12 months
$5,217,700,000 for calender year 2006

Total gaming revenue in NJ has almost dropped to "slot revenue" only in PA
$2,388,658,549 PA slots revenue for last 12 months
$839,177,086 PA table game revenue for last 12 months
$3,227,835,635 PA casino revenue for last 12 months

Borgata, Harrah's, and Golden Nugget collecting 52.9% of total revenue in AC. So in some ways it is the AC Boardwalk that is in trouble.

So less than half the revenue now goes to: Bally's AC, Caesars, Resorts, Tropicana, Caesars Interactive NJ, Resorts Digital, Trump Taj Mahal.

TTM get 6.8% of gaming win.

Casinos in northern new jersey wouldn't affect me going to Atlantic city every one or two years. The ones around me do. I have heard of this revenue sharing idea but not sure how it is supposed to work. You would assume the money would go to the city itself. If the money went to the casinos, it wouldn't go to good use either unless they reinvested the money into the properties and I don't think they would. Properties are more viable when the money goes to capital improvements imo. The gambling will be even worse from a consumers' point of view the less casinos are left.

I am voting NO, this is a typical CROOKED NJ politician bill.
No exact location for casino, no spelling out of how or how much revenue sharing. No mention of how profits will be taxed.

Scam.... Scam.... Scam...Scam

This is from the same politicians that are providing a PRIVATE developer with nearly ONE BILLION, taxpayer dollars, yes with a B.... To build a mall at the Meadowlands.... Despite malls financially collapsing around the country duje to the disruption of Amazon like sites.
While at the same time clawing to raise Gasoline taxes 23 cents per gallon.

These politicians/skunks kills us with income taxes, sales tax, tolls, fees, and the HIGEST real estate taxes in the country.

I urge everyone to vote NO

I have seen govt contractors spend $700,000 in a SINGLE WEEKEND to "entertain" politicians who make decisions on their bids. We live in a crooked system.
