City of Dreams Manila is a luxury integrated resort and casino complex located on the Entertainment City gaming strip at Aseana Avenue and Roxas Boulevard in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.

It is owned and developed by Melco Crown Philippines, a joint venture between Belle Corporation, a subsidiary of SM Investments Corporation, and Melco Crown Entertainment, listed on the HKSE and NASDAQ. The US$1.3 billion resort complex formerly named Belle Grande Manila had its soft opening on December 14, 2014 and its grand opening on February 2, 2015 with live performances from local and international acts such as Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ne-Yo and Kelly Rowland dubbed as the "Concert of Dreams" to mark its grand launch. [2] City of Dreams Manila is a sister resort to City of Dreams in Macau. It is the second of four billion dollar casinos to rise in Manila's gaming strip after Solaire Resort & Casino which opened in March 2013.

What do you think about this Casino?

few years ago: it took me like 1 hour plus to go from airport Terminal X to Terminal Y, by airport bus. Then 1 hour plus back. I remember checking the distance between the terminals on google map; the bus's average speed is less than me walking! It was not during peak hour; like 11am or 2pm or something. The casino is very close to the airport, what is the traffic like now?

I am worried the casino may cheat. On one hand, the casino looks pretty big, so less likely to cheat. But corruption is high in philippine. They rank worse than Mexico / Brazil.

I vaguely remember a story about a Korean gambler who won big in Manila. Then the casino refused to pay him. The casino regulator then said the junket program the Korean was on did not have the right paper work. So all the gambling the Korean did under this junket arrangement is now void.
I think if the Korean lost big then no one will care if the paper work is done correctly. Even if someone raised the issue then the regulator may choose to say "well, there was a minor error in the paper work which should be fixed and the junket operator disciplined, but the result of gambling stands because the paper work error is not significant."
The Korean wasn't happy and got lawyers to follow up. I don't know what happens then. Any one know?

City of Dreams Manila is almost an identical copy of City of Dreams Macau.
I would not worry about cheating.
It is true that traffic from one terminal to another in Manila is a nightmare, though some casinos are close to one terminal and others to the other, so try to fly to the nearest terminal of the casino you will be going to in order to avoid delays gambling.

Been in Macau and never enjoyed playing their. They are very serious like its a world war 3. Game rooms don't have the feeling of a Vegas style atmosphere.

You won't find Vegas type of atmosphere at the craps tables in Manila either. It's mostly middle aged Philippine men with a few foreigners mixed in. A very few. Some Filipino's, like their Chinese counterparts in Macau, won't bet if a foreigner is rolling.

For craps, for me, it's Manila. At least three properties have craps games and they are friendly enough. I didn't notice any magnets or other important matters. They were a bit rough about hitting the back wall at Solitaire, to the point of calling no roll. Never any issues at City of Dreams and Resorts World has a partition in the center which has to be cleared. No tipping in Resorts World. Some of the female dealers and one box lady at COD hotter than firecrackers.

Sorry to digress...Cheers mate.
