1) Windward hotel and casino
No idea what time it opens but it was closed at 11am.
Through the window i saw ~3 tables and about 20 slots.
The slots were all turned off so no idea what type but they were of the small older cabinets

3) Parrot Club casino (St John)

I looked and it seems that most PR casinos are now 24/7. There are also several more casinos than when I lived there.

Winners Circle casino:
Small dinky casino across the street from the sky tram.
E-bingo machines, Asian drum themed slot machines, and a multiplayer e-bj machine (dealer hits s17)

Finally re-opened 3/2022 after being damaged by hurricane pre-COVID.
Small but clean and well lit casino a block from the ferry.
Vp is horrible (see above pic) but the Royal progressive was $16xx.
Mostly various Lock-It-Links and Asian themed slots.
Also an e-roulette and an e-bj machines.
Lost $400 @$2/spin on Fu dao Le slot chasing high progressive. Never hit it.
And never got a bonus round.
Guess I should have figured because of the horrible vp.
Quote: billryanI didn't gamble much when I lived in Puerto Rico, but I think the casinos only opened in the evening. You also needed a jacket to gamble and they had hundreds of the ugliest jackets available to lend you. Someone told me they lend out horrible jackets so no one wants to walk off with one.

The dress code is not enforced anymore either.one thing I remember was back when machines took coins players would save their machines by putting their car keys in the coin slot.

Their VP has an auto-hold feature and it's bad.
It will always pick a gutshot over a high card.
What's worse, it'll pick high card over a 3 card straight flush 1 gapper.
Ie: 2578j and 578 is clubs
What's even more annoying is the slow double up feature for all wins.
I couldn't find a way to turn it off.
Really, really, really cuts down on hph.
And it makes a clicking sound everytime it adds your win to your money total like it's an analog device
Quote: DRichI played quite a bit at the Old San Juan casino in Puerto Rico about 30 years ago.

I also played there quite a bit in the 80s/90s .
The lobby bar was one of my favorite places.

It is pot o gold for sure i was just looking up “leisure time tech” and the autofill search had it as the second suggestion
Are those not based on pull tabs?

Well, in one of the hands i played, i was dealt 4568Q and it auto held 4568.Quote: DieterThe manual section beginning page 71 suggests to me that poker games are not pulltab based.

i only held the Q and got another Q on the redraw for a winning hand.
if pull tab, would that hand still end up QQxxx if i held 4568?

The autohold means nothing so just ignore it.

What I'm getting from the manual is that the card games are not pulltab based.
I decline to speculate on the mechanics of a pulltab variant.
