Punta Cana - Bankroll

Hello Everyone.
I have an upcoming trip to the Hard Rock in Punta Cana. I am trying to find the best way to get my bankroll there and back. I have never gambled outside the US before.
Do I just keep the bankroll on my person as I travel? Or get it from the ATM once I am there?

If it’s under $10k I would travel with it. If it’s more than $10k I would establish a credit line or send it as front money to the casino.
The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; but that is the way to bet.
