There have been some 'delistings' of approved casino employees, particularly in the VIP hostess area.
My original post about this was in December of 2017 about the time of the solstice:
I will admit it was quite some time ago and restaurants can change but I found Roxys to be quite good food, large portions, fairly low prices. (Nice to have an old fashioned ice cream soda for two dollars). And, as BBB remarked, it sure beats all that Asian stuff from street vendors where its "I think its xxxxxxx".
Anyway, the Chip of the Day for this Winter Solstice should be River Rock in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Casino has called in prior chips and is completing a chip swap as casino executives and BC gaming enforcement officers trade speeches and editorials. No indication yet of whether Chinese gangs in the local area rumored to be affiliated with mainland Chinese triads will be taking any sides in the matter of chips having been used for money laundering, financing an underground economy and the purchase of large quantities of drugs.

I think what happens is that already rich Chinese who might otherwise go to Macau are induced to come to Vancouver, Canada and are provided with additional money which they then use to buy chips. Once they have the chips its a matter of now having an excuse for the tax man of "gambling winnings" and the money is now "freshly laundered" and no longer presumed to be from Canadian drug buyers.
How they go from small bills to large ones, I don't know but perhaps the Canadian bill suppliers are higher rung dealers.
