Hello,
I am intersted in how the casino ednge is changing if 1 player is on the table of Caribbean Stud Poker, if 2,3,4 and 5 players are on the table? Is there any diference for the casino? Also what are the diferent % if the customers CAN see each other cards?
And my second question is about BJ - same matter - what are the diferent % if 1,2,3 or more players are on the table?
Thank you in advance!

However, don't get your hopes up. According to the paper "An Analysis of Caribbean Stud Poker" by Peter Griffin and John M. Gwynn Jr., which appears in the book Finding the Edge , in the perfect situation of having 7 colluding players it would be possible to narrow down the dealer's unseen cards to just 16 possible cards. Using a computer to analyze all 1,820 possible 4-card sets out of 16, the player would have an advantage of 2.3%. In a six player game the house would still have an edge of 0.4%. An article on this topic by Scott McIntosh at Review Poker Rooms also explores this topic and comes to similar conclusions.

The 2.3% is also only a theoretical edge found impossible in practice by Advantage Play expert, and WoV Member, Teliot:

http://apheat.net/2013/09/05/caribbean-stud-collusion/

With the CS MAK Collusion Strategy, which is still difficult, Teliot found that seven players could yield a 1.34% edge over the House, and the House has a 1.88% edge over six players.

There is no difference in the House Edge assuming there is no collusion, nor is there a difference for the players, because there is no demonstrable EoR (Effect of Removal). There is an EoR, but the players don't know what it is or how to bet based on it.

My answer to three, four or five players is that you're still much better off playing Craps, Blackjack, or other games!

Thanks for the answer. Just to be precise - I am looking for the answer from casino point of view :). I am working for the casino, so I am interested what are my theoretical hold %. That's why I am asking. Later I will read the whole artice from above and I hope I will find my answer there.

AND one more think - by the rules of our poker game here the player CAN change one card. I am not sure are we speaking now about Oasis Poker and what are the diferent house edge % for one, two, three, four or five players?

Thank you once more time
