Here's one for you mathematicians. I read on Mike's website if one adds up all the nmumbers on the roulette wheel the total is 666. Really? Well, here are my questions that just may finally stump you guru's. (wishful thinking....never seem you guys stumped ever!!!)
1. what is the probabality that the sum of the wheel will equal 666 without a repeat number?
2. same question allowing 0 & 00 & not allowing a 0 or 00 (0-00 table)
3. same question allowing 0 & not allowing 0 (single 0 table)

Yes, really. They total 666. It's easy to see...Just take (1+36)+(2+35).... You'll see that each set adds to 37, and that there are 36/2=18 of those sets of numbers. 18*37=666.

I think it's 1: 2,057,103,777,254,340 on a double 0 wheel, or 1: 766,879,127,067,900 for a single 0 wheel. My math isn't the greatest, and I did this while on a conference call, so someone should verify...

edit: this is for hitting all numbers, including the 0s, without repeating. I'm not sure if that's exactly what was asked...

You think those are long odds? What are the odds of this thread happening exactly now?

Yes, I guess my quesstion is two fold.

1. What are the odds of either getting a total of 666 from aggregrate wheel spins wthout repeating a single number (order is irrelevant)

2. What are the odds of hitting 666 exactly with any combination of numbers before going over 666

AND ONE MORE SINCE I'M ON A ROLL WITH THE 666.....

3. What would be the average amount of spins on a 0-00 or 0 roulette wheen be to total 666? ie 30-36?

LOL

The last page is also blank, so it's like someone added an extra page to add coincidences to this thread.

LOL Do you really have that many blocked threads? I am still at zero. I do virtually ignore some of them though.

I hope not. It's been so peaceful around here.

He's probably enjoying the 4 other people on his forum though.

I almost wrote a post that I was averaging 58 posts a week in the past month...yikes. But I don't think many of those posts were in "his" forums!

Thanks for defining a blocked thread. I guess that means no one is interested in my math question? lol I'd rather be rejected by a 'full figured' chick than you math experts because i love gaming. Hopefully my question did not insult you gents. Take care
