I would have to ask for clarification. What is your average bet and how long do you play?

If you are a small time player, (between $25 to $75 per hand) I would have to suggest downtown Las Vegas. They offer great value for your action. Or one of the second tier casinos on the Strip like the Sahara, Circus Circus or the Stratosphere. I remember that the Stratosphere was offering free rooms if you play $25 a hand for 4 hours.

If you are a black chip bettor, you might be able to move up a level and look at places like the Luxor, Treasure Island, or the Monte Carlo. If you can play between $150 to $300 per hand, you will probably get good comps (RFB closer to $250+).

If you are a whale, then the best comps are probably found at the Wynn/Encore or Venetian/Palazzo. I am not a whale, so I wouldn't know, but I've watched the Travel Channel.

If you feel comfortable sharing your average bet, bankroll and the length of time you play, I can give you a better feel for comps.

Will I’m certainly not a whale, $25 per bet/taking odds at the craps tables is about it. I’ll play a total of eight to ten hours per weekend and bring $1,000 just for gaming. Thanks

The Stratosphere will rate up to 2x odds in craps. For example, if you play $10 on the pass with $20 odds behind, they will rate you as a $30 per hand player. (This information was valid as of September 2009).

You may wish to call them and ask if they are still running their "play green, stay free" promotion. That was where they stated that if you play $25 per hand for 4 hours a day they would give you a free room.

Not sure how the downtown places would rate you on craps. I usually play down on the main strip.

Hope this helps.

For new players, any Total Rewards (Harrah's family) casino give the best introductory comps.
