Hi,

I just recently joined this forum. I have a question about video poker(JoB).
On bodog.com, when you are playing JoB(haven't played other than that on that site yet),
after each win you have a chance to double or nothing on your bets.
Do you think the final payout ratio is better if I take the bet or no?
I was taking all these chances, and ended up pretty much even.(I may have lost like 5 dollars, but close enough)
So, what would YOU do if you had this chance?
I would say the chance of doubling up is 50/50 with nothing.

By the way, I got to know bodog via wizardofodds.com, I really like it. By far the best online casino I have used.
and if anyone has recommendations of other online casinos, please recommend them.
I tried driving to the closest casino through the blizzard today(I live in Wisconsin), couldn't even see half a foot ahead of me on the highway.
So, I'm trying to play these games at home. Help me out.

It doesn't effect your payout ratio. However, it is a free bet, with no built-in house edge. If you like to gamble, you should use the double or nothing feature. It all depends on your appetite for risk.

The only time to do this is if the double down wager was credited to one's slot card as "play" or counts towards some type of rollover at a particular online casino.

If so, this "50-50" wager becomes a small overlay with the slot card or with an attempt to complete a rollover.
