How does the casino collect/pay out uneven amounts? If I bet $10 on banker in baccarat and win, how do I pay the 50 cent commission? Would they give me $9 in cheques and a 50 cent ticket or something?

What if I had to pay an even odder amount, like an 11 cent commission?

If I bet $250 on banker and won, would they give me $237 in cheques and a 50 cent ticket or something? What is the protocol here?

Also, what about when the casino owes you an uneven amount? For example, you bet $9 on blackjack and get a blackjack. How would the casino pay you $13.50? Do they pay you the $13 in cheques and give you a ticket for 50 cents or something?

Another question: what do people do who bet a large amount at a time, like $25,000 on banker? They're not carrying $25,000 in cash and changing it for chips, are they?

Usually they use lammers to keep track then ask you to settle up At the end of the shoe and before you leave.

Yes, they all use quarters for this.

If you’re betting big money, most likely, you’re using markers - either from a casino credit account or from front money on deposit.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁
