I'd recently went through a report and read that the maximum losses happen when a player doubles on a low count.

Keeping that in mind, would like to know what an advantage play would be to avoid splits/doubles during various low or high counts.

Thanks!

During low counts, you should be taking a bathroom break or step away for a quick smoke. At worst, you should have a minimal wager out.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

billryan’s advice is good. I pretend to have a need to use my cell phone, and to use it the rule is I must not be seated at the table.
