I walk into a casino with 25$ And the intent on playing roulette only, is it more wise to put 25$ on option A 50/50 bet 18/37 (black/red/ even /odd. Or wiser to go with option B 25$ spread on single individual numbers 25/37. Probability of a hit vs more money on the win ?

Hi WS, Welcome to the forum
Wisdom and roulette are two words that don't sit well in the same sentence. All wagers have the same house edge.
If your objective is maximum longevity (fun time) then the wisest wager is table min on an even money bet, rinse repeat until you are broke or sated.
If you want minimum longevity and max excitement, maybe put everything on one number in one go and close your eyes.
$:o)

You can't put chips on number 37.

I think he meant putting $1 on 25 of the 37 possible numbers

Thanks. I did find how he posed the question to be a bit unclear.

Ok. Assuming he's wise enough to only play single zero roulette....

$25 on an even money wager:-
If he loses, he loses $25
If he wins, he picks up $50 for a profit of $25
Probability of a win = 18/37 = 48.65% (approx)

$25 spread over 25 different numbers:-
If he loses, he loses $25
If he wins, he picks up $36 for a profit of $11
Probability of a win = 25/37 = 67.57% (approx)

If he desperately needs an extra $25 for his bus fare home, then 1st option is more wise.
If he desperately needs an extra $11 for his bus fare home, then 2nd option is more wise.

If he repeats this session a very large number of times, on average he will lose 25*1/37 = 67.6 cents per session whichever option he employs.

One thing to remember if you want long play is you may shrink your roll below the minimum. $25 is a very small roll to start with. Most tables will require $10 minimum. So if you lost $16 the day is over for you.

For people who want max excitement I suggest betting 2 or 4 number splits. The math does not matter but you get to root for more numbers.

Have fun.

I would say option C.

Play the James Bond method.

Check the board. When it has 2 b2b in the same sector out of 3, start by betting equal amounts on the other two. Either 1st 2nd 3rd 12, or columns.

Either bet pays 2 to 1. So you net one unit each time you win, and you win 24/37.

Track your losers. Once one sector has lost 2x, move that bet to the open one.

Rinse and repeat.

I'm NOT saying this is +EV. Just that a small BR can last a while, and perhaps get lucky and make some money.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Thank you all for the responses! I am most sorry to for the confusion caused mainly in part by my choice of words. Probably stating my purpose for the bets would also help answer. I’m badly addicted to meth and heroin and I was in dire need of conjuring up 100$ for my connect, so I walked into my local casino (San Manuel) highland c.a they offer only double 00 game of roulette :(
I walked in with 25$ Luckily lol that’s the table minimum
I lost my 25$ even money bet on black drove back home more depressed and fu*%ed than I previously was. Going to attempt the 2 x dozens bet tomorrow which was recommended in the post above due to high probability of a first spin win=76%?

If you want a "fast chance to double" maybe try craps or BJ? Better odds though craps will take longer, though not long.

Regardless of what the thing you’re saving for is, you should never go to a casino if you need more money.
