A buddy and I are heading to Vegas in a couple of weeks. One of our favorite activities while there has been chasing matchplay/ freeplay coupons out of the ACG. We use the Wizard's method of betting Pass/Don't Pass and generating small wins, which gives us joy way out of proportion to the amount of money that changes hands.

We felt that the ACG coupon list had gone downhill, and have each purchased LVA so we can use their coupons, instead.

But we have started wondering-- do we have to choose? It appears that many of the matchplay coupons are essentially the same between the books, or at least are at the same properties. Can we use both?

Has anyone done this?

I did that and wrote an article about it:

The only casino that gave me any issues about using both was El Cortez, who simply said I had to use them on separate days. No big deal since I was staying Downtown, anyway.

If the casino has more than one pit you can try playing them at different pits.

Right, I was talking about the Free Play, though. That'd be in the system, so if they say it has to be separate days, no way around that.
