Wow, that girl was lucky.
Out of curiosity, how much have you played? Hit any jackpots yet?
Three jackpots hit in the last two days. Down to $5000 today. They will drag this out for another month with some sort of a win for up to $2000 (still double the normal $1000). At the end they will play the $2000 for each machine. That way that people can fight for the last machines with the bonus.
Yeah, it's tough to see that happening. How much have you roughly put in already?
On a side note, does anyone know if the machines reshuffle after every hand? I do notice the machine hesitate for a slight second once in a while, and wondering if that was the shuffle. Also, does the timing of when you press the buttons (i.e. Deal button) affect the shuffle? When drawing, are the next cards already predetermined from the initial shuffle, or is it determined when you hit the "draw button" for the random number generator to calculate what the cards are based on the probability?
Quote: pacomartinSince the owners no longer have a casino, they are being forced to give away the money at huge player advantage in video poker (15 machines only). They are currently giving away massive bonuses for natural Royal Flush. The bonus currently stands at $9K and is being reduced by $500 every time someone hits.
Happy Hour is 3-7 PM. This promotion won't last long. It is one of the nicest bars downtown and the appetizers are half price for happy hour. You won't be slumming. I hope you hit the bonus.
Would those who are familiar with this establishment be able to give us an estimate of how much more business the joint did? More crowded? More use of the machines? Faster Play? More booze sold, even at Happy Hour prices? Was it a real boon to the bar to have had these huge payouts?
Quote: rudeboyoiyes definitely a huge boon to the bar. this money was never theirs to begin with. its sort of like free advertising.
Of course it doesn't hurt, but it's not jammed packed. It's a very small place (maybe 30-35 seats) and there are almost alway empty seats.
The Sidebar, Triple George Grill are owned by the former owners of the Lady Luck, so I don't know if it is fair to say it was never their money to begin with. They are also the landlords for the "Hogs and Heifers" bar.
It's a popular bar with the legal crowd downtown.
Quote: rudeboyoiwe hit a $7000 royal tonight chopped 3ways. me, my friend, and Rob Morrow from these forums. my friend was the one that ended up hitting it.
Congrats!!!

it was never their money. it was the players money.
Well, some people may not have known of the unusually high payout and some patrons may be subject to time constraints, but I was just trying to get an estimate of how much business improved with this temporary 900 percent increase in the payout table?Quote: pacomartinOf course it doesn't hurt, but it's not jammed packed. Sure beats free rooms, free shot glasses, free key chains or "a whole freakin' dollar of free play on a slot machine".

Anthony Curtis never picked up on this deal for his Las Vegas Advisor .
He has Double Bonus of 100.17% at MAIN STREET HOTEL CASINO, but he missed out on this huge payout.
Lady Luck is in the news again as there is talk about renovation plans to be completed within two years. Scuttlebut is that they have to make some noise or they will lose their option with the city to develop the land around the post office.
