RFID is used by very very few casinos,
and NEVER used with chips under $100
to the best of my knowledge.

I know a number of smaller casinos that use RFID on all chips. Tracking on the tables and at the cage.
I still expect good quality customized chips to be at least 55c each, even in truckload quantities. (More with RFID.) I'll trust that you know a guy who knows a guy and can get a better deal.
can find the HUGE "Gambler's General Store"
for purchasing any/all Casino equipment.
They commonly sell BIG boxes of customized chips.

Small tribal places, not Las Vegas, including one place small enough so that black is their biggest chip.
If you need more info, let's talk quietly.
The interesting thing was that in the stack were $50's, $100's, $500's, $1000's, and a $5,000 bill. After the game was concluded (one woman got a $1,000 bill) Monty went out of his way to display the $5,000 bill, which was enclosed in a plastic holder. Apparently, the show had to get special permission to include it, as the bill, even then, was non-negotiable. Monty explained that if someone had won it, they would have cut them a check for the amount, and not actually given them the bill. I didn't even know a $5,000 bill was ever in circulation. It was very interesting to see the high denomination bills in circulation as some had red treasury seals instead of green.
I checked the web for a copy of the show, but only came across a "Cajun Pawn Stars" episode that included some of them:
Quote: AyecarumbaSaw a re-run of the original 'Let's Make a Deal' with Monty Hall the other night. One of the games had contestants pick the position of a bill in a stack of various denominations. Of course before revealing the bill, Monty would offer them a curtain or a box on stage.

If anyone gets Buzzr on their television, they'll see reruns of this episode regularly.
Quote: onenickelmiracle$500, $5000, $10000, $50000, $100000, yes. If they don't have bills for them, they can't be lost or stolen. Then third degree going to the bank with them and you have to tell them their mother gave it to you for services rendered. It's seriously one of those things missing in the world, cash that means something. It is a disadvantage in so many ways for the little people. So many scenarios. Some people spend more when using credit cards, but some spend more when using cash. Back to the original point, that's why the big cash was done away with, because it was lost and stolen and this was to make it burdensome.
Fwiw, I think the big bills above 100 in public circulation were done away with specifically to combat easy drug money movement. Pacomartin knows this subject inside out; maybe he could chime in. I think possibly banks still use large denom bills interbank, but maybe that's all electronic these days.

Are you inferring that Pacomartin is a member of a drug cartel?

Of course not. Where is your smiley face?
