I had a real chance at 3/6 on this one. After guess #2, it was very likely one of two words and I think the word I chose for guess #3 should have been the answer, being a most excellent word in its own right. By the way, my second guess happens to be the worst possible Wordle starting word consisting of 5 different letters.

From what I understand, they allow the full 5-letter scrabble dictionary with 12972 words to be used as guesses, but there is a much smaller subset of 2315 more common words that are allowed to be answers. For example, they exclude all 5 letter plural words that end in "S" like "ESSES."

ll understand no plurals will ever be the solution. And after reading the article Gilmeres linked to,they have a new editor so word are more likely to be themed like feast on Thanksgiving and drive the day before. Her first wordle her first day on the job was begin. It used to be random,but now it seems it will be easier. I would rather it not be themed. I will probably be playing wizards smarty pants 5 more
