The blue and purple groups were tough. I never heard of UNCANNY VALLEY. I might have used Happy Valley instead, especially since they are not shy about television references. There is a Spring Valley here in Las Vegas, but I wouldn't expect anyone else to know that.

2. No. He could hypnotize others by just staring at them. Lighting bolts would come out of eyes. It was especially effective on Sylvester.
The race -- I frankly don't know. I am surprised they were in the same cartoon. If forced, I'll guess Speedy.

During the race, Sylvester and Wile E. Coyote teamed up to try and catch them; at the end, they were flying on a large firework-style rocket that crashed into the finish line just before the other two reached it, and were hailed as the winners. You never see which of Speedy or the Road Runner crossed first, although they were side-by-side the entire time, so it probably would have ended in a cloud of smoke covering the finish.
And it turns out that Sylvester wasn't in the cartoon where Slowpoke Rodriguez has his gun ("Mexicali Shomes," although reportedly later cuts have his appearance removed, which seems strange as if it wanted to remove all references to guns, then pretty much every cartoon with Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam would have to be shelved - the two cuts I have seen of involved people pointing guns at themselves (e.g. the Russian Roulette game at the end of "Ballot Box Bunny")).

Good post. So good that I can't think of anything to add or disagree with you about. I do predict some more WB cartoon trivia is in the future.
p.s. In doing a little research, I see you're right about him having a gun. I did not recall that. A few years ago I rewatched some Slowpoke cartoons and they may have been sanitized to remove firearms.
