I never considered "Crab" and "Crank" as noun forms of "Crabby" and "Cranky"

I meant to voice my disagreement with the purple group today. In my opinion, the only one of these words that is a synonym for "swindler" is "cheat."
I think of a crook as someone is an outright thief. There is no deception required, they just take things that don't belong to them.
Meanwhile, a quack is somebody who professes to be an expert at something he is not. The gambling world is full of quacks, giving horrible advice that isn't grounded in math but myth. However, someone who is deliberately deceiving people, probably by selling betting systems, is more of a swindler. A quack actually believes his own advice.
A "shark" is the most out of place of the group. Being a "shark" is generally a compliment, meaning to be good at what you do, at the expense of weaker competition. I doubt any of the sharks on Shark Tank consider it a synonym for swindler.
Thanks. I had to get that off my chest.
My apologies if anyone hasn't played the Connections for 12/15 yet. I figure it's late enough in the day to discuss.

With G = 1, Y = ½, & B = 0, I scored 1, 1½, 2½, and 5.
I spent about six minutes solving this one: most of that was playing LODGE.
My streak is at 32.

I feel that crook can go with swindler. Ie.. he’s crooked
But I can see your argument.
