Can you confirm you have voted 3? I sent you a PM on the topic in case you miss this post.
Thanks
3 is taken.
I'm sorry you are going through a nightmare, I hope you can find some peace of mind. Stay strong and focus on the things that are important.Quote: gordonm8881. I am going through a nightmare period with my wife's parents (who I have been very close to for 35 years). My wife's Mom died 10 days ago and I was with my wife's Dad when he had a stroke and went into seizures yesterday. So, my priorities do not allow me to closely monitor this thread every minute of the day.
2. I am voting 1. My reasons follow:
Given the rules and strategy in this round:
a. The big poolers can ensure that one of their numbers will win the $25 . . .
b. The small poolers will decide which big pooler will win the $25 by which numbers they choose to block and leave unblocked
c. The strategy for the small poolers should be to work a deal with someone in the big pool who has one of the top 11 numbers. Like: we will assure you win the $25 award this round and will let you keep $20 for yourself, if you donate $5 to the small pool.
I doubt that any big pooler in the top 11 will flip to the small pool, but IMO Axel is the most likely. For one thing, he unilaterally declared that he was voting #1 without trying to cooperate with the rest of the pool. Because I want to do something useful, and voting 14 doesn't seem useful, I will vote 1 and block Axel.
d. Also the big pooler who wins the $25 will likely finish at #1 on the Wizard's Leader Board and be declared the winner of the Cooperation Game II. I feel like Soopoo or prozema or someone like that deserves the honor of winning the game. I personally have not enjoyed the things that Axel has said about me, so I prefer that Axel not win.
Edit: Vote = 1 submitted to Wiz.
3 posts up, A said 3 was taken?Quote: PokerGrinderOk seriously we need to fill in the small numbers first people. We are leaving holes, nobody has submitted 3,7 or 8 yet!!
AyeCarumba is the enemy :o)Quote: Romes3 posts up, A said 3 was taken?
If he took 3, then a big pooler needs to take it too.
He's more enemy than that. He's a solo rogue.Quote: RomesAh, my mistake. Look at him tryin to be all sneaky =p. TAKE THE SMALL POOLERS DOWN!
C'mon big poolers. Get 3 taken.
Um, Ayecarumba is NOT a big pooler. I think he is trying to mislead us. Just look at his avatar. Does that look like a guy you can trust? (Just kidding, Aye. I loves me some Snidley!)Quote: Romes3 posts up, A said 3 was taken?
Although, more power to him if he wins with 3. I think big poolers who haven't voted would be wise to snap up the low numbers ASAP. We can always reorder the table.
Quote: Ayecarumba3 is taken.
3 is NOT taken, not with AYE taking it, if he's not lying. We need a pool person to take it. Can someone cover it?
Veery funny, bear. :)
Edit: I see someone else caught this. However, it remains unresolved.
If someone from outside the big pool manages to win with 14, we have done something seriously wrong.
Quote: Dalex64Maybe Romes should change from 14 to 3.

I'll move from 18 to 3 if that seems like a good idea.

With all that said. At least you didn't throw in the towel, take your ball home, or whatever like our friend billryan, just because you didn't get your way.
It is crazy how trying times run together. Wishing the best of possible outcomes for you
Don't be bl006y cryptic! Did you take the number assigned to you in Joe's table, or what.Quote: NathanI choose a number that was part of a one hit wonder song about a Player. ;) It was even mentioned in the song title. ;)
You do realise we a playing a strategy here for $25 of cold hard cash.
Quote: RomesYou don't think it odd, at all, even just the slightest bit, that all of axel's real life minions are all in the small pool, and that he's taking #1 on this round, a round where the small poolers are completely boned?
Nope. Not at all. Axel's word is 100% good with me. But if someone wants to also pick #1 and it falls to me as #2 then the big poolers have no fear. I paid out nearly $2k in the Hot Blonde Challenge so I ain't gonna steal $25 from all my friends here.

Joe's table editedQuote: gamerfreakI haven’t voted yet. I’ll take 3.
I've reassigned 13 to KeenOne, for now.
Tear down those low numbers folks. And get your ar5es in gear if you haven't yet looked at the suggested bids table and posted here about your bid being in place.
Not having that table populated is absolutely giving $25 away. Don't let it be your fault.
Romes knows damn well I wouldn't jack anyone and I'm not playing the sneaky lying game. He's just trying to cause doubt and chaos. DON'T FALL FOR IT!Quote: SOOPOONope. Not at all. I just sent another pm to keenone so he knows his number was reassigned.

You'd think we weren't all on the same side. Romes ribbing you, you ribbing me. I guess I need to rib Romes to complete the circle....Quote: AxelWolfRomes knows damn well I wouldn't jack anyone and I'm not playing the sneaky lying game. He's just trying to cause doubt and chaos. DON'T FALL FOR IT!
.... After I've given Nathan a slap for her cryptic non-contribution.
Where TF are all the missing in action big poolers. Don't they realise that by not putting the effort in, they are having us plan out a sure route to victory to the small pool or worse still a soloist.

Had we gone with my plan, it would be irrelevant, of course. If we had the dozen or so first answerers all take numbers in sequence it wouldn't matter if a few missed selecting. Big poolers, please just trust me next round. Thanks.

One of them is right. I'll give you a dead giveaway clue. It's also the name of a sweet candy, much like Now And Later candy. ;)

Nathan voted 5.
That was easy.
Quote: onenickelmiracleIf I vote 1, I don't win unless nobody has 1. If I vote 2, same. I can vote 30 without a duplicate, but cannot win. The only way to win is to pick a low number nobody has picked and others have to duplicate the lower numbers before me. I see no way to win, don't think there are enough people to void the big pool votes. I was better off quitting.
Well, the big pool is trying to do the "power in numbers" thing, but that only works if we can actually herd this mess of cats we have with some level of precision.
If we can't do that, the table we are using to collaborate will be the key to our demise. That is, if the non-poolers and side poolers have the leadership to coordinate an attack.
Anyway, I would not say it's a lock that the big pool takes it, but we are at an advantage in terms of numbers and leadership.
I still don't understand why you would quit when you are in the top half of the rankings...
The big pool would be happy to have you on our side, especially since you are holding more than our average.

So looking at the joe table, we have exposure on 22. Somebody choose wisely... If we lose because we have exposure on 22, we will have been simply out played.

If we get 1-21, 22 is irrelevant.
Quote: PokerGrinder5 has already been voted, wtf Nathan. Seriously you are part of the big pool, how do you not get that you’re supposed to COOPERATE with your pool! 🤦♂️
Mr. PokerGrinder... I would like to encourage you post that you voted 11 and submit your vote.
Nathan is irrelevant. She's completely ignored the game and just gone and scratched some numbers on her whiteboard with a nail.Quote: SOOPOOIf we get 1-21, 22 is irrelevant.
When Nathan was assigned 22, it was because it was suspected that she could not be relied on.
She COULD be relied on to score the own goal
Way to go Nathan.... NOT.

I’m waiting to vote to fill in the lower blanks if needed. My vote is never in doubt, I will vote whatever is best for the team.
When are the votes due by?

I don't know when the votes are due by... Pretty sure that was posted 12 pages ago...
But I have been sending a lot of PMs and I would like to encourage you to trust me.
If you don't trust me, I would like to encourage you to have OD and Joe swap you to a later number. I think we are best off locking up as much as we can and using 18+ as a contingency.

Nuff said?
Can you go swing by UK Marks place with a JD and ask him to kindly check his PMs?
Also please note a couple of posts ago, pokergrider's vote is in.
Quote: NathanTo be fair, I was under the impression that this Round was a Rogue Round where everyone chooses their own number. I made a mistake.
its very important to avoid reading the thread at all costs. Collaboration is for chumps! ;-)
