It looks like you are both right. I always thought of him as a soldier but apparently he crosses over - no pun intended. :-)
For the "In The Navy" album he's wearing a sailor's hat. There are photos of him in US Navy camo blue fatigues and others in Marine Corps fatigues. He truly is a macho man.

lol 1BB that is funny, needed a laugh this morning, so thanks :)
because you already got your tickets, but you're to shy to ask?Quote: BozThe Village People will be appearing at Harrahs AC, Thursday Feb 12th if anyone is interested in getting the answer from the source. Assuming 5 minutes of Red Chip at a $5 BJ Table will be enough for VIP Meet and Greet tickets.

Returning a missed field goal? But I'm pretty sure this is wrong because I think Auburn scored on this against Alabama in a recent BCS championship game.
Yep, wrong :p. That can be a fun play though. Some day I'd like to see Janikowski boot a 70 yarder this way. Seems plausible, since there's no pass rush.
Please use spoiler.
Quote: DRichWe now all know that there has never been a one point safety in the NFL. What type of score has only happened once in the last 60+ years in the NFL and who is credited with that score?
Please use spoiler.

Not shy, so excited to see my idols in person I would be unable to speak coherently and would make a fool of myself. Plus I didnt play enough to get the VIP tickets. Red Chip place is just too risky for my bankroll.
Quote: FaceAn offensive safety? Offense fumbled, defensive recovered, defense ran into wrong end zone. Forgot name. Big dude for Vikings, #70?
You may be correct about that but that is not the score I am thinking of. The one I am thinking of happened in the last 10 years.

My GuessDrop Kick Field Goal? I recall the Steelers Ben Rothlisberger making an attempt... but I may have picked the wrong time to stop sniffing glue...
Yes, you are correct. It was that Quarterbacks last play in the NFL. I wonder how many non kickers have scored on their last play in the league.

I recall that one or more of the orignal members of the group died of AIDS, including the lead singer (the cop?). Can anyone confirm? Are there multiple touring companies of Village People groups, like the multiple Blue Man Groups?
OG's entry is what I was recalling and attributed to Big Ben.Quote: odiousgambitthe extra point that was scored by Flutie kicking an extra point by drop-kick

Just took a look at the wiki article and it looks like one of the founders passed back on November 15, 1991. He was a founder but from what I was able to find he did not actually perform. The gentleman's name was Jacques Morali.

EDIT : versus Miami, and only a PAT : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIQMq7JrSv8 - Flutie talks about it

Very good, not surprising from a former Jeopardy winner though.

The major part, related to this thread, is that a blocked punt or intercepted/fumbled ball is live now, and can be returned for 2 points by the defence.
