I was unable to connect with this site at around noon Eastern Time yesterday. Service is usually rock solid, so I wondered what the problem was. The answer is the hosting service was experiencing a DDoS attack on its name servers as narrated in an Ars Technica article. The reason for the attack no longer exists, so I expect the service will again be rock solid. Just so ya know!

That's absolutely correct! I was kind of waiting for someone to bring it up and then I was going to say just that.
