I'm new to this type of forum, and sorry if this question sounds repetitive, but I couldn't find the answer. Is playing deuces Wild with the following pay table worth it? If so, is the strategy the same as the simple strategy for Full Pay? Wild Royal-20, 5 of a kind-12, straight flush-8, and then 4,4,3,2,1. I play on the east coast and this paytable is by far the most common that I've seen, with slight variation. I've never seen anything close to full pay. Thanks for any advice

Wizard of Odds has a great video poker analyzer that you can type the pay table into. It's called "Video Poker Analyzer" if you want to check it out for yourself. I got 96.57% for your proposed game. Not worth playing unless you have something to increase your edge but still better than slots.

12/10 = 97.58% and 10/8 = 95.96% are quite common in US casinos. I've never seen an IGT machine with a 12/8 paytable though.

You're right. I think I meant to put 12/10 and 10/8. I haven't had any luck with these using the simple strategy for full pay deuces. I wonder if it would be better to play jacks or better.

Part of your question was whether the strategy was the same as for FPDW. And the answer is not even close.
FPDW has a 5-3-2-2 pay schedule for four-of-a-kind, full house, flush, and straight
This game has a 4-4-3-2 pay schedule for the same categories. This is the same as NSU Deuces Wild, not FPDW
Major differences include hands like 44KK6, where you hold one pair in FPDW and two pair in the current game and the hand with a pair along with a four flush. In FPDW you hold the pair. In this game you hold the four flush.

It likely would be better to play JoB, or "Bonus Poker". As Bob said, the strategy for these Deuces games are quite different than full pay Deuces since the full house pays 4 and the flush pays 3.
