I am a native Baltimoron. Anne Arundel county had slots into the late 1950"s. Before the feds busted them. Serves them right,
greedy bastards. Were only putting down $6 or 8 a week as the drop for tax purposes. The Bally boys always cut the pinball drop in
half, they the owner and machine man would put the other half on the books.
That way the Feds and Irs were happy. Imagine it's the same way on VP now at your local corner grocery store. LOL

At least one other county in MD too. Going down RT 301 into Charles County there were slots, but that was before I moved to the general area.

It was really the Feds who put a stop to it all?

I just got back from Easter break and got a chance to play electronic craps at Indiana Live. I used the oppurtunity to play the darkside for the first time. I am convinced this is a good strategy the problem will be having the courage to play it live. Anyway I had never seen rolls like I saw at the e-craps tables there. I did DP with full odds and two DC with full odds. I was getting knocked down all over the place. The board keeps track of numbers rolled and number of rolls and I saw in one hour of play three turns with over 20 rolls, including one that was over 30 and the one that was 43 rolls of the "dice"! I went to VP after that (not great paytable there by the way).

Maybe this is another thread or one that has already been talked about, but in my opinion nothing beats a live game with real dealers, real cards, and real dice. Nothing at Indiana Live is real. One thing I noticed is that the electronic versions give people more of an excuse to believe the games are rigged and gets them more and more upset. On those monster rolls even I found myself fighting the temptation to think bad thoughts about the 'cheating computer'. I know it is all legit, but then again from what I hear Indiana Live is almost bankrupt, so what a minute...nah it couldn't be...could it?

Is it the case that your rolls are exclusive to you? If so, then the obvious problem with putting "the fix" in at a craps table is gone. The roll has got to be good for the dark side if it is to be bad for the right bettors at a regular table. But that roll is shared with both "sides" ... is it not so at electronic craps?
