There are several HUGE full-service casinos lined up along the Red River and they're all hoppin' busy and a blast to play at.
The Horseshoe is one of the largest (if not THE largest) of them all. They have $1,000,000.00 on display behind glass, but not in $10,000 bills like at the old 'Shoe in Vegas, these are in $100 bills lined up in a set of floor-to-ceiling display cases about 200 ft long, I guessin' !
Tunica is another hidden jewel of Southern gaming with about 10 full-size, full service casinos all in a a 10-mile isolated area just south of Memphis. The craps games in Tunica have to best payout of any craps tables, anywhere in the world.
BE CAREFULL, however, if you play POKER...
The locals in Bossier City all work together with the dealers shooting signals back and fouth, STEALING from the tourists in hold-em, I know this for a fact.
Minimums are very reasonable in all Southern casinos...
OH BTW I FORGOT!
Try the steakhouse at the Horseshoe in Tunica... the best in the world in my humble opinion.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT JIMMY FOCKER IS RAMBLING ABOUT !
Bossier City is 5 miles North of Shreveport, LA. and only about 6 hours by car from Dallas / FW.
Tunica is another 10 hours from there (at least), but its kind of a nice drive between 'em... you get to see the old South...
You can also stop off in Vickburg, they have 3 casinos with dice tables as well.
Enjoy it, it really IS nice.... have some Cajun food, authentic as it gets!

Someone need an atlas:
DFW to Shreveport is 190 miles, 3 hours by car.
Shreveport to Tunica is 337 miles (the long way) which is about a 5 1/2 hour drive
Shreveport to Vicksburg is 171 miles (less than 3 hours)
That being said, the casinos is No. La are pretty nice, used to play there all the time when I lived in Paris, TX. I find them to be a little better than MS casinos.

I suppose it's possible, though he hasn't been obnoxious, just rude. And he hasn't made himself, quite, intolerable.
I'm more concerned with people here seeing a Jerry under every troll. Paranoia, even this very specific type, is surely not healthy ;)

We all know Jerry isn't able to post without being a total douchebag--the last two times he came back, his very first posts violated forum rules--but our new friend has at least been sort of civil. So I doubt that he's Jerry--if he is, he's a kind of bleached-out, toned-down version of the troll we all know and love so well.
