I think I see what Steve Wynn is doing. He has agreed to put corporate offices in his 3rd hotel in Macau. That won't be finished for another four years. That way he has additional leverage in getting approval to build this third hotel.

He also gets to make a political statement about his feelings about the administration.

He won't have to make a decision for another four years. The offices will be used in some manner, and he will probably build himself a special villa in the new hotel.

It looks like a win/win. If Vegas has not significantly improved in four years, maybe he will actually move the headquarters.

PacoMartin, a bit off topic, but I ran across a few of your posts about Steve Wynn being interested in the Ritz/Casino and golf courses in Lake Las Vegas. We're hearing the same rumors here too.

The Ritz closes this Sunday. LLV exits bankruptcy 6/22. The water issues for the courses are now resolved. The courses have just been groomed nicely, the water falls and ponds in the courses are being filled up again. We're hoping for an announcement soon.

Any more rumors about Wynn and Lake Las vegas?

Thanks!

Sorry, I think a lot of people were hoping that Steve Wynn would step in there. He is still losing money on his Las Vegas property which is offset by his big earnings in Macau. I think it is unlikely that he will expand at this time.
