I'm not surprised, I occasionally check the AC conditions on Bravo Poker Live just for S's&G's and it appears that the poker room has been very nearly effectively closed since the casino's existence.

Some good opportunities while they clear out the Bad Beat Cash.

Although I've never been there, I tend to think that is a mistake. Generally speaking, poker rooms make the least per square foot of any part of the casino, if not the sports book. However, they are often viewed as a cost of doing business and having the look for a serious casino. Often while the boyfriend is playing poker the girlfriend will be playing the slots, which is where the good money is.

It's definitely a loss leader, but it's the right move for Revel I think. The room is dead. Hard to compete with Borgata. It's definitely not dead now today though because there are 16 tables running because they are beginning to drain the promo funds. Giving away $500/hr for a high hand bonus. Borgata still has more tables currently running (20).
