Wow: Comped Revel, Sat night!

What a change from the last time I asked for anything.
Up front: Mrs and I have been to Revel 3 times, afternoons only. We were there about a week after they opened, we were there in November, and we were there in February. I'm not sure just how low our level of play is... last month I probably ran a few hundred through the slots, maybe $800-$1000 (lost about $400), and I play $10 at carnival games and $25 or $30 at blackjack. Mrs is slots only, and has probably lost between $200 and $300 each time. The first two times I was there I won; maybe $700 the first trip and $300 the second. Last trip, last month, I lost $400ish in slots and about the same at tables; about $800.
So, we are not high rollers.
We get comped rooms at Borgata, but only mid-week; on weekends we get reduced rates, but that's still a couple hundred. For the weekend we wanted, it is $239. We also get comped rooms mid-week at Revel... but that's not our casino. I checked Revel's website, and it said there were no rooms available for the night we wanted.
So what the hell. I called. And it took some talking, but hell, I talk to people for a living. "That IS a weekend, sir. Your level only gets you mid-week." "Yeah, I know. You'll have that sometimes." "Ill see if I can get someone to help you sir..." And after about 5 minutes, "We are making progress, Mr. Mosca. We can offer you a room, and all you will have to pay is the resort fee and tax, which is about $20."
What the hell, I booked it. We weren't even planning on going to AC, Mrs just was wondering what rooms cost that night. I guess we'll be having a blast!

Awesome! I'll try calling them the next time I book a trip to AC. I usually travel with three others and we share a room. I think Revel limits their rooms to two guests per. That may be an issue. but have fun and win big!

Haha, we don't bet enough to win a fortune, unless she hits the progressive. But I'll take that! Someone has to do it, might as well be us.
