Ya sorry about that, the site wouldn't give me the link to an individual pic page. Worried about people downloading the photos I suppose. Anyway, that's me in action on the soccer field. I'll see if I can find something better.

In any event, unless you make it clear that content may not be for everyone, you shouldn't directly post pictures that might not be safe for all eyes to view. The Wizard seems to have expressed that preference.

Sorry, I'm just in a pissy mood right now. Didn't mean to take it out on you. I have to say that in all honesty I really enjoy being single so I don't have to experience the b.s. that sometimes comes along with relationships but it sometimes sucks as when I get upset like I am now (not about this, I'm upset about something else) it sucks to not have someone to talk to and put their arm around me and comfort me. The picture posted was not inappropriate for an adult forum such as this. And if people are getting in trouble for viewing this stuff while at work then the real and only issue is that that person shouldn't be surfing the web while working. Most companies don't have a problem with personal use while at work... it's a fact of life -- Many company web and network services slows to a crawl at lunch time as people eat lunch and surf the web. However, most workplaces has (tremendous) problems with any pictures showing nudity, for obvious reasons (it's demeaning to other women in the workplace). The smarter web filters out there know how to filter out these pictures, report it to their web administrators, and get this site automatically blocked. The last thing you want is this site to get on the nudity filter list at a major service (such as McAfee). The last thing you want is some director of IT having this site and your name attached to an access log.
Some workplaces block this site when their gambling filter is turned on and the only way I can get to this site while at some of my customer's sites are through VPN to my network.
For me, the Web *is* my work. If I don't have internet access, I don't work.
It just seems silly that the Wizard would have to go out of his way to make sure that this site is safe for the workplace. I don't see how that's his responsibility. This is a 21 year old and older website so if someone's on lunch and want to access this site from work then they should think twice about it. Now if indeed, the users of this site think as a body that it's actually okay, and we can put up pictures I'd prefer my colleagues not to have to view, then I would indeed stop reading here while things are happening in the background on my machine. That's fine too. But right now, I don't -expect- to see boobs, so I don't regulate my activities here to avoid seeing boobs.
And if it became a boob-fest, I'd stop coming altogether.
Well you make a good point. But if there is a link and someone clicks on it to a provocative picture then it's on he who clicks on that link. I think people are being too uptight about all of this. My site, my rules. I like boobs as much as the next guy, but there is no shortage of other sites that satisfy that need. Every male on this site probably has hundreds of such images on his hard drive already *ahem*. This site is supposed to be about intelligent conversation and ideas. If I don't draw some lines in the sand and enforce some rules the whole character of the forum will change.

I think that the rules as posted by JB were superseded by the rules directly below them that were posted by the Wiz. I recall a conversation about the age issue, and I think age was intentionally dropped as a "rule." The reasoning was that 21 is the gambling age some places, 18 is the gambling age other places, and the math and general interest topics appeal to all ages. In the spirit of inclusion, the age requirement was dropped.
