what are your favorite songs
I've played guitar for a great many years and I can do some of the things the rock or blues stars do on guitar (not all of course)
but when I see a great classical guitarist such as Ana - I'm in awe - I can't touch that - can't even come close
46 million views on this baby - for classical music - quite astonishing

While her playing is beautiful, I must admit that I enjoyed with my eyes as much as my ears…
Doc is a great mixture of country and blues - I guess the best way to call it is Country Blues
his guitar work is fabulous and his voice is so strong
I can't imagine what it must be like to be blind
I guess that many blind people who are not famous like Doc end up in nursing homes - so very sad

Seen Doc play a lot of times
One of my faves
Loved his strong voice
Went to Merlefest several times which celebrates his son who was an accomplished guitarist himself and played with his father. Merle Watson died in a farming accident.
One of my all time favorite musical performances ever was seeing Dolly Parton at Merlefest performing a song with Doc
the blues are great - Johnny Lee is great - he's deep - and it's good for your soul
