Looks like the Women's March press release somehow got out with "XX" as the SCOTUS nominee. Meaning they were going to say basically the same thing no matter who was nominated.

I wonder how many of these people saying you "can't overturn Roe" because it is "settled law" realize that they are saying that Separate But Equal should never have been overturned either as that was "settled law?"

Like I said, all you libs would have something else to worry about besides illegal aliens kids in a couple weeks. Libs seem to have forgotten all about what they were so in a lather about there.

Booker, Harris, Sanders already strongly opposed to Kavanaugh. Easy to understand reasons given. I want to ask B, H, and S which of the 25 potential nominees most often mentioned WOULD they support if they are able to block K? If their answer is none, we plan to oppose every Conservative leaning jurist, then I hope they lose and K is confirmed. If the Libs could at least say they could vote for a couple of the choices then I might get behind them saying someone is just too far Right.

See, the problem is the SC has to make decisions in a Constitutional framework, and the Constitution sucks, so thatís kind of a problem.

You can interpret everything in whatever semantically fueled way you want when the document youíre using as a point of reference doesnít really speak to anything. And that, my friends, is how you end up with subjective political leanings being relevant in the highest court of the land.

No the only one who sucks is you. If you knew anything about the Constitution and the Supreme Court, you would know that the Supreme Court judge is left to no interpretation. All of the interpretation done by the Supreme Court must be done by following our founding father's interpretations which can be found in the Federalist Papers and Madison's Notes. Youre just another ignorant citizen who knows nothing about this countrys history and how the law is applied, but instead is brainwashed by your tell-a-lie-vision and media. Suggest you get off the internet and turn your TV off because you have been brainwashed. You probably think we live in a democracy as well just like everyone else in this thread.

You're a disgrace to this country. All the hard work and blood sweat and tears that our founding fathers have sacrificed for us only for future generation of citizens to throw out ignorant comments like yours with the audacity to say the Constitution sucks and your erroneous comment about who interprets what and how.

Sad times.
Any private business open to the PUBLIC (ie. droned out casinos) cannot have a criminal trespass enforced against an individual without GOOD CAUSE (Disruptive or Disorderly conduct). You will never go to prison for being thrown out of a casino for legal advantage play and then returning because it's simply unconstitutional 'as applied' to the individual. 'As applied' constitutional issues must FIRST be raised in DISTRICT COURT (trial court) to have it thrown out. You CANNOT raise it on APPEAL This is the best kept secret in the world of casinos not just in Vegas but everywhere in the country. Thank me later.

What part of the Constitution sucks? All those freedoms?

I do agree the feds need less power but some things is what they is.

You can call it "legally distinct" all you want. I am talking realistically and morally. There is something very wrong with someone who is OK with PBA. I don't need to read up on it at all. I know all about it. It is sick.

I wonder if the main difference between some Conservatives and some Liberals isnít that the Liberals donít necessarily think their subjective moral sets should be Universally applied, including to those who may not share their same moral principles? Conservatives also tend to be more religious, I know correlation isnít causation, but...

Well, if that's not the definition of a Personal Insult. I'll just say that the words of someone who purportedly believed that the CET owned casinos were undertaking a massive conspiracy to defraud players by removing tens from their pre-shuffled Chinese decks don't really sting me that much, and we can call this one even.

Okay, and on matters that the Founding Fathers could not have feasibly forseen...then what?

I don't watch TV and I only pay attention to two or three political sites, both lean slightly left. Mainly FiveThirtyEight, to be honest, which is mostly focused on the numbers. If you think I know nothing about how Government works, blame the public school system as well as the community college and then the University I attended, that's where I got some of the information.

Another personal insult. I don't have anything else right now, so we'll just say that I have a free one coming against you if it's cool with the Admins here. I'd just as soon see you not suspended for insulting me, especially considering that your opinion, quite possibly, matters less to me than anyone who is or has ever been on this forum.

Honestly, mainly the parts that aren't in it. The Founding Fathers were just guys like you and I, not Gods. The Constitution is the ultimate appeal to authority, but more importantly, an authority that tries to preemptively answer questions that it didn't even know were going to be asked.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with most of the Constitution. It's just trying to frame answers to it that it doesn't actually answer sucks and is really kind of dumb.

Liberals foiled again! That darned Constitution! Every time!

Can you tell me the first Presidential candidate to select the VP candidate without looking it up? I'll give you a hint: The Founding Fathers couldn't have seen that one coming.

Zen every post that you make appears to be that of a stark raving lunatic. I don't mean this snarkily, but have you considered seeing or taking to a mental health professional? From what other posters say, they have met you and you appear normal and that you just vent here. However, I sometimes feel the people who are way over the top online may be exposing their true selves. I know that you wont take this advice to heart, but you really should talk to a professional.
I got a plan, we take all your picks we reverse them like one of those twilight zone episodes where everything is the opposite. You say "black" we go white.
