I have been searching for a good low carb keto homemade BBQ sauce. I eat keto but find many of my meat dishes are too bland. Store BBQ sauces have too much sugar and carbs.

This is the recipe for what I use.
Quarter cup of soy sauce
tablespoon of roasted sesame oil
tablespoon of vinegar
teaspoon of garlic powder
teaspoon of onion powder
tablespoon of smoked paprika
tablespoon of hot sauce
2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
2 tablespoons of no sugar added ketchup
salt to taste

Mix well and start tasting it. Add
more soy or more ketchup or salt
until you get it where you want it.
I like lots of smoked paprika. Makes
it richer and a darker red.

Sugar is cheap, that's why it's
in everything. It's also addictive.
The fructose in the apple has
more sugar than the white sugar
and corn syrup that's is everything
else.

An apple has about 15 g sugar.

Over the course of a day drink a few Cokeís, eat aforementioned junk food, and youíll probably be at around 200 g of sugar.

You should try Carolina mustard based barbeque, then. Make your own from dry mustard powder in the spice aisle, chili powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, oil or mayonnaise base, or dry rub with just the spices. You might try a half-teaspoon of allspice in it - good in meat dishes. Can also mix in some vinegar for a wet sauce.

Point about fructose is it hits your
pancreas wham-bam immediately.
Spike's your blood sugar level.

I might try that, I have all those
ingredients on hand. I can already
see it needs a little cayenne.
Cayenne pepper is a superfood,
I eat at least a teaspoon of it .
everyday mixed in with other things

If you abstain from junk food and your total sugar intake is one or two pieces of fruit per day, I doubt youíll ever have any blood sugar problems.

This is true.
