I'll never forget my first Westward Ho hotdog. 99 cents for a quarter pound foot long. First bite or two were great, but the whole thing went south pretty fast. Best thing I will say about The Ho is that is was next door to Slots of Fun.

For many gamblers it was not the hot dog, but the help-yourself condiments and large capacity paper tray. All that ketchup, onions, relish, etc., made for quite a meal when you were very close to the felt.

I went to White Castle during WSOP a couple years ago when Casino Royale first opened it. I had seen Harold and Kumar but I had never been to one before. That was some of the most atrocious food that I’ve ever eaten!

Probably the only thing worse is Krystal, a White Castle knockoff. Watched 2 employees get into a physical fight behind the counter on Busch Blvd in Tampa years ago.

In and out is right there with it. Meat maybe better but it has literally no taste
1996, I just remember one employee and total one employee who didn't seem to care much about his job behind the counter. Then I remember asking for ketchup and mustard, and after being directed to their location, then I knew I was in for trouble. The second time, lets call it 10 years later, at a BP gas station, how convenient a Subway with $5 foot longs. I thought it was pretty convenient and I was hungry. Again only 1 employee for the whole store. Well, look at that Indian lady reusing those disposable gloves which are covered black and have holes. Am I hypnotized sometimes I wonder? She takes my order, doesn't take them off, then takes my cash and gives me my change with the same gloves. I ate the sandwich on the way home and yes I did vomit a lot and it was yellow. I don't ever let any nonsense slide and always speak up now for me and everyone else.
Sometimes you need to speak up, and not make an order to be on the safe side. The other day a hostess at a buffet, I saw repeatedly cough into her hand, I did speak up to the manager. The manager did understand the complaint and did know proper procedure, but yet the times I was complaining about, she was doing it right next to him. I knew I was already sick, turned out to be strep throat. Doubt I got anyone there sick at all.

The frozen supermarket ones are awful.

I can't eat leftover white castle as they'll give me heartburn too. Im okay with fresh ones. But they don't stay fresh for very long. They start going downhill in minutes just like McDonald's French fries.
I also don't eat them in Vegas usually because they are almost double the cost of a normal location.
