He's in his nineties & long since retired, and is now mostly into making tiresome wisecracks about not buying any green bananas. During his working life eventually became an engineer in the aerospace field specializing in certain esoteric aspects of high-stress structural dynamics, and along the way did engineering design work on contract with NASA, among other things. It's not Wizard. Although Wizard is older than me and has been here longer than I have and is mature, rational, esteemed, normal, wise, and nice to me, Wizard is old enough to be my FATHER. Edit. For some reason, I remembered reading that Wizard was born around 1964. Turns out he was born in 1974. Oops. I DID wonder why Wizard looked like so young for a 50 something year old man, I always thought h looked more 40's than 50's, now I know why, ;) Wizard is definitely NOT old enough to be my father(Or at the very least would have fathered me at only 10, extremely unlikely, ;)

I have had this idea for a very long time and now with very similar candies becoming real, it's time for e to come forth with my idea. Snickers Candy bar filled with M&Ms! Put two of the best selling candies and merge them! Hershey's has a similar candy(Reese's Pieces in a Nutrageous Candy bar(Divine! :D) And M&Ms just launched a M&Ms chocolate candy bar!" This was basically the concept I conceived of long ago but I envisioned it in Snickers instead. Peanuts, nougat, caramel, milk chocolate, and M&Ms in one candy bar? Yes, please. Mars Company, make my vision come true! :D

M&Ms used to have a chocolate bar many years ago. Seven layers of chocolate and seven layers of wafers. It was really good. Kind of like a Twix bar as I remember.

This was Long ago, when I worked at a casino in the slot department.
Normally, you are required to be moving around the floor and not stay in one place for long. I was rarely able to accomplish that since I worked with lots of cute girls, and I became friendly with lots of customers as as well. My shift supervisors and coworkers liked me, and they knew the customers really liked me as well(I was much more charming back then). That and the fact that I could do multiple different jobs(Change, drop crew, slot control base, cage, money runner, even shipping and receiving if they really needed me) is probably the only reason they never fired me.
So, whenever the supervisors would catch me lingering around, chatting it up and flirting or whatever, I would get a friendly move your ass, oftentimes even with a smile.
This particular time I was "working" Christmas Eve or Christmas, I cant quite remember now. I happened to be chatting it up with theses two change girls off in a corner, as we oftentimes did. This time it seemed to be longer than normal since we were making plans to do something after work for NYE together.
I didn't notice the slot directer was there since he normally worked day shift and we all worked swing. From the little I knew about him, he was kind of a hard ass.
A while later, I get called into the office after my break. I thought I got called in because I stayed on break too long, that was normal for me. Susan, my shift supervisor presented me with a pink write up slip and she explained the Slot director caught me hanging out chatting, and not moving along. I was asked to read and sign it, and so I did. At the bottom I noticed it had a place for comments(I'm not sure if that was meant for the offender or not). I thought for a second...then I proceeded to write in very big letters..... "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!"
The next day my supervisor Susan told me he (the slot director) actually thought it was funny.

I’m strongly against the Nathan suspension. C’mon now, can’t force someone to answer something, especially since the original thing wasn’t even suspension-worthy.
Just let this be a fun place for people to write whatever’s on their mind, let Nathan do the stuff that she does, etc. Isn’t that kinda the purpose of this thread, to let Nathan have free reign here? It’s not like this is some serious discussion thread.

I could understand a suspension if a member was deemed to be aggressively soliciting money from other members.
However, I don’t know if Nathan’s recent posts explicitly gave off that vibe. Taking what she said and implying it was a search for a sugar daddy simply because she didn’t answer to say it’s not that, is certainly a bit of a stretch.

Given Nathans history, I think beachbumbabs made the correct decision pending an explanation from Nathan as to what the hell she was talking about(not sure how she will do that if she is suspended). Because of Nathan's history she seems to be on a watch list and she has lost her benefit the doubt privileges. I don't know that I don't agree with that.
Beachbumbabs has been a loyal volunteer for years who has contributed lots to the forum. There is very little praise for the hundreds of times shes had made good decisions, helped out the forum etc, but yet, everyone seems to jump on her when the decision does not make sence to us. I have no doubt, I myself have been guilty of messing with BBB, but this just feel different.
OD, and BBB seem to know more about Nathan than they can say. I have a feeling that also plays a part in their derision making regarding Nathan.
Cut BBB some slack on this one, or we might end up trading Nathan for BBB permanently. We already lost Mission and got stuck with OD(GOD HELP US!!)

We've been having a long conversation among the mods. There has been some new information. Nathan's account has been unbanned by me, for now, pending a couple of decisions. Thanks for weighing in, all of you.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.
