I smoked golden hash oil once, when I was 18.
I've never tried anything like it again.
But I COMPLETELY understand the appeal now.
Don't ever get started. It's beyond great. Which is why it's so terrible.
.Quote: MrVI'd not heard of the latest opioid: Carfentanil.
Synthesized in 1974 as an elephant tranquilizer, it is reported to be 5000 times stronger than heroin.
It's on the streets now.

"strength" is not as important as people think. In the OR I can use micrograms of sufentanil or milligrams of morphine with similar results. It's not like you are going to get a kg of carfentanil from your local dealer. It will be sold to you in the micrograms. While heroin will be sold in milligrams.

Hash oil as in THC? That’s just some concentrated weed, I wouldn’t consider a hard drug.

I'm not an expert, and this was 40 years ago, but my dealer friend said it was an opium derivative, not Marijuana derived.

A recovering addict who was an anesthesiologist said.... Don't ever try fentanyl ONCE.... It is SO good you can get hooked on one illicit dose.
"Imagine the best you've ever felt in your life; then multiply it by ten, that's how it felt."
Better than a Martini, better than sex,,, can I have another.
I get that things are addicting... I've done a few things, but nothing I'd consider really "hard." MDMA, adderall, weed, I mean... I went to college. Tried a few things, didn't do them ever again. Even the things I liked doing, I still didn't feel the urge to "do them every day." Anything in moderation can be a good time. I'd do MDMA again, at 'some' point in my life would probably do weed again (brownies hopefully), but I just don't even feel like doing them every weekend. Plus, most of what a lot of drugs do is empty your dopamine and serotonin for a flood and a rush/good feeling. It takes weeks for your levels to get back up to 'replenished' so that means if you did something again a couple days later it would have less of an effect, perhaps why people up the doses and get addicted. So even in my hay day over a decade ago in college I never did anything like that within a couple weeks of each other.Quote: beachbumbabsI smoked golden hash oil once, when I was 18.

Left over from a stomach operation I had recently.
Needed it due to the pain of having 30 staples holding my stomach together
I had some leftover once the pain lightened up.
So many horror stories, I took myself right off once I could deal with the lightening pain
I just keep it in case I get a tooth ache or something like that
I popped a few on New Years eve. That's about it. The only time I tried the high. You don't get high if using for pain.
Just nice to have in the house if I run into any pain problems
Kind of scared to do it again due to all the horror stories out there
Combined with good weed the sensation is quite pleasant.
And legal.
