Now you are talking my language. I always look for the deals.

Was it from Buddy's? I think that is the only Detroit pizza I have had.

Yep. I prefer NY pizza but these are for a party for a guy from Livonia. His wife thinks he will appreciate the taste of home.

If you are in the South western part of Australia, you may see a flaming Chinese rocket in about 40 minutes going overhead.

Or maybe instead , coming right at you.

Post your last words here.

Here's an odd poll making some waves...

I'd like to think I could take down a chimpanzee but, let's be real, it would probably just tear my face off.

Unarmed.... you may win some of the battles but suffer severe injuries. Id rather be me than a goose, but you could get hurt while killing the goose. Anyone that thinks they can take a healthy lion in a fight has never fought a healthy lion.

I now have a small dog. Maltese/Yorkie combo. It THINKS it can kill the other dogs 5 times its size in the neighborhood. It will charge at them and if it was a real fight my dog would end up a snack. I guess my dog would have answered it could beat the elephant.

I just noticed something unusual in my gambling history.

I've kept accurate records of my daily wins and losses from each casino I've gambled at since 2003.

As a non-AP / recreational gambler (craps, high limit slots) I expect to lose overall, and until a year ago that is what happened: every year I had a net loss.

But I am at the same level now that I was 22 sessions ago: some minor variations of course but at the same point now as then.

No big handpays to skew it, just a bit of good old variance.

Yep it happens.

A few years ago when the game of thrones machines came out, I had a pretty good run. Over a few months I put around $30k coin in on that machine (a lot for me as an occasional minimum bet player), and came out slightly ahead.

.................

again, IMHO - most people when they get into their cars immediately hit the music APP or radio or cell

but if you turn everything off and listen closely to the sound of your engine and brakes - and you hear some weird sounds that don't belong - there's a pretty good chance your car needs service of some kind

back in the day there was a commercial that said "you can pay me now or you can pay me later"
