Chloe Moretz may be talented but she is a too young for them to be dressing her up so much. This photo was taken before her 11th birthday for a PG-13 horror film.
Now that she is age 13 she is really glammed out on the red carpet for her latest R rated film (Kick-Ass) where she shatters some obscenity barriers in film (you probably didn't think there were any left). This is her 10th film and her 27th acting credit (including TV series and made for video movies).
That is pretty hard work for a kid.

I really don't have a problem with profanity and "taboo" subjects in movies and tv, but hearing a 13 year old girl (who looks even younger) calling a bunch of people the "C" word just makes me uncomfortable. It was unnecessary and simply there to get attention for what it was. The meaning of gratuitous.

I find such pictures disturbing. The phrase that comes to mind with this trend is "pedophile chic" <shudder>

Maybe 99% of the people who look at these images will think that is a pre-teen dressed like a grown woman, but given that 1% it would seem to be more responsible to simply dress in her in children's clothes.

I just caught this actress (who is now 15) on the last episode of 30 Rock (playing a very funny part as Alec Baldwin's nemesis). What an incredible career she's had at this age. I think she was in over a dozen TV episodes and at least a dozen movies.

I agree it's a bit messed up but you guys haven't even mentioned 13 year old Bella Thorne from the Disney Channel. Here's a pic I don't even want to directly insert into the post (fairly SFW). Does she even have parents? That said, can't wait until she turns 18! Ok, bad joke.

Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds) was dressed age appropriate and without make-up for a pre-teen despite being in a major motion picture.
I think the way she was raised allows her to dress (at age 18) elegantly, but not indecently.

I think if you have had an Oscar nomination, and your movie sells 20 million tickets it's opening weekend, you can dress to kill if you are 21. You are by any definition an adult. Besides she is dressed glamorously.
