Squawk on the street?
I watch a lot of CNBC and you sometimes wonder with guests, is that really the best "expert' they could have put on. You looked very polished in the interview and comfortable being on camera. I know from your other posts, you are not new to being on camera, but even some veteran CNBC'ers can come off as awkward at times. Not the case with you this AM!
Just wanted to say, great job and give us a bit more of a heads up next time if you can, I had to go back and find the spot on CNBC.com, would have been fun to see it live.

Quote: sodawaterdo you get an appearance fee for something like that, or is it just for the business publicity?
BUsiness publicity and gets me on their radar for future appearances and/or attempting to get my own show

Seems like it, since the empty nesters are more likely to divorce when the kids are grown. Also when the kids are at another kid's house on a sleepover or something, that's when my parents got divorced.

They can't afford the product placement LOL

Bob - it's always a good season for divorce...
but, in reality, the "dead zone' for divorce filings is between Halloween and New Year's Day
the busy season is January 2nd through March 1st of any given year

New years resolution to get divorced?

PErhaps that, coupled with not wanting to serve the divorce papers in between passing the cranberry sauce during Thanksgiving Dinner

Looking good for the Holidays, stiff upper lip keeps up the front....Merry Christmas, honey.

Headin' into Tax time, gotta think of the finances.....
Holiday stress, financial stress ... and a realization perhaps of preferring to be elsewhere.
>Headin' into Tax time, gotta think of the finances.....
I think mainly its the aftermath of Valentine's Day... the real day that tests a crumbling relationship and forces an assessment of the situation.
Some men calculate the cost of divorce and the cost of staying married and pretty much decide on separate bedrooms is as far as they can afford to go whereas others decide to make the break no matter what the cost and start anew.
Sometimes a wife's use of a detective, CPA and divorce lawyer is enough to insure "marital bliss" for another year.
