Casino noise and Hearing Aides

Anybody out there have any first hand experience with hearing aide usage in a casino environment?

I've got a condition that has caused my hearing to deteriorate over the past several years and I am going next week to be fitted for hearing aides. Just curious to see what other people have experienced. What types would you recommend?
