Hello guys, I'm currently looking for a cheap hotel in Las Vegas for my stay in February 2015. I've found the (spam link removed by moderator) they have a lot of discounts and some pretty sweet offers and deals. Has anyone used them? Are they legit? Which hotel should I choose in order to fell most comfortable, I want to be near the Strip, but not exactly in it, because I guess that it gets noisy. Thanks!

Greetings from Alabama!

Lollipop4,

Welcome to the forum; however, we do not allow links to competing sites in your first posts, so I have removed yours.

I suggest you look at Our Site for forum member recommendations about specific hotels, and also search trip reports, casinos, and restaurants in this forum for detailed discussions about Vegas area hotels. I also expect you may get some recommendations from members in this thread.

Stay on the strip. It wont be noisy in your room.
Cheap just off the strip but still a casino, Gold Coast.
If you find a good deal online, go to the hotels web site. If the same deal is there, book on the hotels web site.
If not the same deal then I would be suspicious.

I recommend staying at a casino's hotel, that way you may get your stay comped. The Strip has the glitz and glamor and charges for it. At hotels you can get taxis easily and avoid DUIs or fender benders from gawkers. If you take a taxi from the airport to some more distant small motel be sure to get the driver's cell phone number.

I'd start by plugging in your travel dates on a couple of the big name internet travel sites. I have stayed a block off the strip plenty of times to save a buck or two. From that standpoint, see what the rates are at TUSCANY.

I agree with FleaStiff to definitely stay at a casino hotel. It's very easy to play where you stay and ask for comps or discounts at the end of your stay as opposed to a non-casino hotel, where you'll get nothing.
In addition, if you are anywhere near the Mississippi border and you gamble anyway, you could play at Harrah's or Beau Rivage (part of the MGM empire) in Biloxi and get discounts in Vegas.

Too bad The Ogden House closed.

That always seemed a viable option, "on the cheap."

Along with the Oasis. All the good cheap places seem to be getting closed down.
