As in reply on that thread, I like to put it this way:
Oh! That never works..... It is my gut that the dice hate, and I mean really hate, no, I should say really, really, really hate players who switch sides and just go all out to clobber them. Damned if I didn't do that myself though last time I played [and got clobbered too].
20 sessions this year: 17 winners, 3 losers- and I swear to you all- the 3 losers were days for some reason or another, I did not wear them!
To be completely accurate- one day I only had on one of them because my girlfriend mistakenly took one- and it's a trip I will likely never forget. Let's just say wearing one doesn't work- although to be fair- a late-night comeback did take place, thankfully...

How much for a one-month lease on the socks? By the way, can you wash them? I was always superstitious when I played baseball, so I would (gross!) refrain from washing winning socks. We closed out our championship season with a 14-game winning streak, so you can imagine the condition and fragrance of those socks after the season was over.
I washed them after that and then wore them for the first game the following season, we lost. Maybe I should have preserved them in a tupperware, or something...

I do wash them- although currently not for lease... :)
We'll see how they go this weekend- or possibly time to break out the jade...
in a casino at any given time are driven
by superstition. You see it with the
slot machine hand wavers, or the way
some people stack their chips. But
how many are chanting prayers to
Jesus or have a pocket full of lucky
charms. I try not to have any, but I
won't bet after a roulette zero, even
though the odds haven't changed.
But, that is about it, I don't do anything that effects play.
Quote: MaxPenOne of the funniest things I've ever seen was in a bingo place. Lady had a line of troll dolls. She wound up one number away on a coverall fairly early and placed a doll on that number. She never hit the one remaining number she needed. She then took a pair of scissors from her purse and lopped the dolls head off discarding it as unlucky. I have to wonder how many dolls she has gone thru.
at first I was picturing the old episode of Roseanne where she got addicted to bingo, but I dont think she cut any heads off
