As I wrote in the other post, mine is that I won't play the first two pai gow poker hands after a new deck so it will go through a shuffle once. I know it's not rational.

Mine is a new dealer coming in and burning a card...I usually sit out the shoe.
On PaiGowPoker, I LIKE playing the first hands of new decks...I've seen more than a few times, Straight Flush's and Quads get made those first hands. (Cards are less mxied up I guess?)
On Craps, when the dice go off the table, it's always a horn bet/C&E for me.
On Craps, when a new stick comes in, and it's NOT a come-out roll; ALL BETS OFF (Because the bet WILL resolve; either 7-out or point-made)
Video Poker: I talk to my machines when they start to go on a losing streak.
A lot of people think I do the walk around the chair to change my luck, but to be honest, I sit on my leg and it falls asleep every once in a while. I walk around to wake it up, nothing else.
Quote: TiltpoulFor me on craps, if someone buys in for cash mid-point, and I'm the shooter, I will refuse to collect the dice until the money is off the table. If I'm not the shooter, I will look away until the money is off the table.

What do you say to the machines?

Hey, I do that too!
But I don't consider it a superstition, because I don't expect or hope the draw will be favorable. It' just a bad habit ;)
Besides, the damned machines don't listen...

Sarah Conner doesn't live here anymore.
When I'm shooting, I always give the felt a little rub, kinda like I'm cleaning my fingertips, before I pick up the dice and throw.
But the throw part is just pick-em-up-and-toss-em.
When I'm the new shooter and the stick gives me all 5 dice, I'll pick them all up, drop them from about 5 inches, then stare at them for a second or two, as if I was waiting for two dice to call my name. Once I've made my selection, I'll move those two dice aside, give the stick a chance to take the other three, then do my felt rub and throw thing.
