Has there ever been a solitaire based table game or slot? I'm not familiar with any.

Cryptologic, Grand Virtual, Kismet / Cantor Gaming, and 3Dice softwares offer casino solitaire in which you win a fixed portion of your initial bet for each card moved to the foundation piles. With a possible player edge and a reasonable variance, the game can be useful for bonus play. However, play is far slower than other casino games, and there is no known optimal strategy.

Buzz -

Is that any different than the Solitare game included with PCs? FYI: There is a scoring mode called "Vegas" that has always made me wonder. It costs $52 to start, and you win $5 for each card brought to the foundation. I.E. You only need to bring up 11 cards to see a profit.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

and how many times did you show a profit ?

i know that everest casino offers such a game. And i create a simulation to run and test different strategies. I did not find a winning strategy by now. If you have a strategy and want me to test it feel free to contact me.

edit: i play under the "vegas" rules where you can only run through the deck once and a card that was move up for scoring can't be taken down again.

My best strategy so far is able to move up about 9.3 cards in average. Which would result in a house edge of 7%. I am confident that it still can be improved.

I have posted this link a couple times already, here it is again. The results have improved over the past few years:

http://www.roziturnbull.com/bill/Solitaire/solitaire.htm

If you go to the results tab, you will see 3 draw / 3 times through Vegas solitaire has an estimated payback of $51.39. That's a house edge around 1%, which is a pretty low edge for a game and scoring system that seems clean and arbitrary.
