2Ace poker room is poker room with about 15 poker tables on the main floor and some more in a private room. I was warned before hand that this club has had major problems with collusion and players talking to each other in Korean or Japanese. I was on guard for that but the game I was playing seemed legit and was quite juicy. I was playing 300/600 I believe but don’t quote me on that. There was a younger Korean and a younger Japanese who were both blasting money everywhere just giving it away. I played a hour and the only reason I quit was the old man beside me was coughing everywhere and I didn’t feel like getting sick since he wasn’t covering his mouth at all. It honestly hurt me to leave the game. I made 25k in the game.
The chip is purple with some of the weirdest inserts I’ve seen. There are nine inserts that look like a half circle attached to a full circle. The circles are white with blue borders. There are 3 white sun looking things around the chip. The centre inlay is white with GG all over it. There is a gold GG logo at the top with GG poker underneath it and the denom and location. I assume the room is affiliated with the online GG poker but that’s just an assumption.

Casino: Dowinn
Dowinn casino turned out to be a funny experience. Dowinn is a junket casino. The main floor had slot machines that weren’t set up and a bunch of table games that also weren’t set up. The second floor had about 20 baccarat tables. When I got there a lady came and took my passport to make me a membership because you have to have one to play. I waited about 20 minutes for the membership and in the meantime they told me to order free food from the menu. I had some Korean soup that was pretty good. When it was time to buy chips I used their rolling program as I have explained from my Macau posts. I played baccarat for a bit and pocketed my chip. When they noticed I did that they told me I couldn’t and I put them back on the table. I palmed a chip later to keep when they weren’t looking. When I went to cash out they counted all my chips, laid out the money and then they were figuring out how much of a rebate I was getting from the rolling program. It was about 3500 pesos or $60 usd. This is where the problem came, they counted all the chips at the table. I played alone so it was obvious I had taken the chips (one for me and one for a friend). They said I had to give them the chips back and I just said I don’t have them. They spent the next 10+ minutes talking and doing this and that a couple times asking again if I had the chips. I said no and finally when I realized this was going nowhere I pretend got mad and said to give me my cash out so I could leave as I had things to do. They said but we need the chips back and I said I don’t care about their chips. The lady finally said to the cashier to give me the money but told me I couldn’t have my rebate money until the chips were returned. Oh well I’ll take the chip over the $60 any day and it makes for a good story. The lady told me if I brought the chips back I could have the rebate that would still be on my players card, I just laughed took my money and left.

The centre inlay is silver with the casino name and denom in black. I don’t know what P001 at the bottom of the inlay means. Maybe this is set 1 of chips? The logo looks like a black phoenix.

City of Dreams is a massive two level casino in entertainment city where most of the biggest casinos are. This is actually the first casino I went to in Manila. I spent about 16 hours playing one slot machine that first day, you might say it was quite advantageous 😉. I was still jet lagged but got it done and it was quite profitable. Both floors have tables and slots but the first floor has a lot more. The second floor also has the poker room but it uses the same chips despite the different name.
The 25 peso chip is green with a white hot stamp. It has 8 pairs of white edge inserts and the denom is listed twice around the chip. The centre inlay has the name and logo. The 100 peso chip is black with 8 white/yellow/white edge inserts. The denom is listed twice in white around the chip. The centre inlay is silver with a bunch to the unknown logo in the background. The denom is listed in black and gold while the centre is black with the casino name and logo in white.

Casino: Solaire Entertainment City
Solaire Entertainment City is a massive casino all one floor that seems like it goes on forever. My first visit there ended badly as we didn’t get the machines that we wanted to play and the jackpot was hit by someone else. This was a result of bad planning by my friend who called me in to come play. Him and my other friend had some very angry loud words and I just stood there and cringed. It was a fu*k up for sure but that happens sometimes. Anyways I played one hand of THB to collect my chip after we ate dinner.
The chip is green with 4 sets of 3 green edge inserts. The denom is listed 4 times in green. The centre inlay is white with the casino name and chip denom in orange while the logo is red. The logo is half a sun.

Casino: Newport World Resorts
Newport World Resorts was formerly Resorts World and still uses the same chips years later. This is the casino that I played at the most and stayed there comped for about 3 weeks over a bunch of stays. The casino is actually two casinos across the street from each other, the Grand Casino and the Garden Casino. I assume they built one and then when they wanted to expand they didn’t have enough room so they built across the street. The Garden Casino was one floor while the Grand casino was a smaller main floor with the VIP Grand Club on the second floor where I did 95% of my gambling. The Grand club was only for 3rd tier club cards and higher but I liked it cause it had infinitely less smoking which is great cause I hate the smell.
The 25 peso chip is a cheap green suits mold with a black hot stamp. The casino name, logo and denom are listed in black. The 100 peso chip is black with 6 pairs of turquoise edge inserts. The denom and 4 diamonds are alternating around the chip. The centre inlay is black with the casino name and logo in red and the denom in gold and white. Newport is listed which is the area the casino is in.

Thunderbird Casino is in Rizal about 60-90 minutes from Manila. We stopped there on our way back to Manila from Batangas. The casino is small with 100 or so slots and 15 tables. I played a few hands of baccarat to get my chip. There is another Thunderbird Casino 4 hours northwest of Manila but it was way too out of the way to bother going.
The chip is black with 8 burnt orange edge inserts. The centre inlay is white with a black edge. Fiesta casino is listed in black, not sure if that was the former name of the casino. The denom and location are also in black.

Pagcor Bilondo is part of the reason that I was crazy enough to go to every Pagcor casino even though most of them used the same chips. The casino is on 3 floors with the first two having slots and the top floor with tables. I believe the tables were run by a junket since the name of the tables area was Dragon Club. They had 15 or so tables, all baccarat. I had some good free dim sum while I was there.
The chip is white chipco style with six turquoise/red/turquoise edge inserts. The centre inlay is red and black sort of mess of colour. Around the outside of the inlay are 6 copies of the edge inserts alternating with 6 red triangles. Prime Luck Dragon Club is listed in white with 3 gold stars in the middle of it. There is a white dragon in the middle with the denom in white at the bottom.

The second floor had 100+ slots and 30+ table games while the first floor had 50 slots or so. I played BJ to collect my chip before continuing on. That night I visited about 10 casinos to collect chips.
The 25 peso chip is a very dirty faded white chip with the casino name, pagcor and the denom all in black. The 100 peso chip is black with 6 white/yellow/white edge inserts. The denom is listed in white 4 times around the chip. The centre inlay is orange with the casino name in black handwriting, the denom is faded gold and the pagcor is black. The logo looks like a volcano.

I was there at like 3 am middle of the week so it was pretty dead. I played baccarat to collect my chip. At first I was disappointed that the chips were the same as the one in entertainment city but the words are different and so is the colour.
The chip is green with 12 green edge inserts. The centre inlay is white with the casino name and logo in red and the denom in orange.

Casino: Metro Card Club
Metro card club was my last Manila chip that I collected weeks after doing the rest. The poker room is in an area far from any other gambling. The poker room is dingy but large with 40+ tables. They run games from 10/20 pesos ($0.17/$0.34) to the 100/200/500 game that runs at 8 pm every night. I played the bigger game and broke almost even after 4 hours. The game was very good I just couldn’t win any decent pots. There were two guys giving away 100-200k at a time and constantly rebuying. I had planned on going back cause the game was good but it never happened as it was such an inconvenient location.
The chip is red with 6 orange/grey/orange edge inserts. There are 8 orange shapes that could be crowns around the chip. The centre inlay is shiny orange with an orange border. There is a giant red crown shape covering half the inlay. The card room name is on the crown while the denom is at the top of the inlay.
